I was a hater when I first saw this bike but after seeing the 25 BMW M1000RR, this bike wins. It beats the BMW in basically every category. If I didn't love my M1000R so much, I'd consider swapping to this. Maybe in a few years... Thanks for the video! Looks like you had a blast.

Beautiful bike Chopsy and great review. My mind is officially boggled by this machine. I remember my Dad bought an Esprit Turbo back on the 80s and that had 225bhp which at the time was phenomenal. Crackers that we’ve not that kind of horsepower in a bike. Amazing….

Great video chopsy! As lovely as the V4S is, the big killer for most people who want one of these is the insurance! I’ve been looking at quotes for these bikes, and as a 40 year old bloke from Surrey who’s got 20 years experience, 10 years no claims and no points on my license, I’m looking at £1500/2000 quotes! It’s insane!

@ agreed, if I’m honest I prefer the more angry look of the 2018 v4, but even that is astronomically expensive to insure!

So interesting to hear the performance gains from the double sided swing arm, I see the new 1000 hornet has vent holes in the wheel rims to help with flex. The engineering today is so refined! Awesome video Chopsy, sorry to see the Insta jump off the bike! Bet you can’t wait to take this bike on track 🤩

Certainly takes your mind off the back ache! Absolutely love that machine. Almost sacrilege to take it out on a cold December day, but your enthusiastic commentary and brisk overtakes, more than made up for it. Just wish I was 20 years younger and an expendable income to indulge in that piece of art. From the comfort of my sofa, a big thanks for the salivating experience. Take care.

I’m with you on that tbh , I had the Speed Triple 1200Rs and honestly I did not go over 7000 rpm so I basically used 50% of it’s capacity and that was all I could do …. Unless wanted an instant ban , I get people love the power yeah but you’re spot on it’s totally pointless, I had a demo on the Zh2, Amazing bike yup but the best thing about it……. Slow moving traffic, very easy to ride…at its peak power ? Dunno because in 2nd gear it’s already at 70 mph .. ! A total Waste of time

I believe she has new cams to add a bit more shove on the big end but at the expense of low end. My concern is the new ram air system , since I have yet to see it in person ,my brain tells me its less effective than the last. @@shauns5278 Right but even stock it's crazy fast for the average rider on public roads. I would guess the average Triumph buyer isn't concerned with peak power / peak speed. Same reason I got the 1200 RS, it's punchy but I don't really care about going over 100 much. I can't imagine someone cross-shopping the 1200 RR and the V4S, nanny road bike vs no-compromise race bike.

It must be incredible, but if I was going for another Ducati (have owned a few over many years), I'd definitely get a V2 Panigale. Re the comfort on road settings, I reckon it's not anything to do with frame/swingarm flex, they've just got the spring/damping rate right - and of course, you're no lightweight guy either...in days gone by, the sportier Ducatis were oversprung at the rear (888SPS was hard as a plank).

Used to work at a bike shop and was always disappointed with the V4 panigale for the cost. I went for a second hand RSV4 1100 ES just run in for a fair chunk less than half the price of the new V4 P as it does all the Italian exotica without having to sell your house to own it. Respect to the brave boys who actually use these on track in 2025 with 3k track slags going left, right and centre around them!

@@mkclarke8307 very easy to get caught up in all the hype of getting your hands on and owning one of these amazing pieces of Italian 🇮🇹 exotica. Looking at the bike from a side view I noticed its more MOTO-GP now rather than WSB. If only Ducati had kept the side panel flowing in a linear direction below the tank that tank would have looked the biz and I know because of the proximity of the engine to rider leg the need for a heat guard but really Ducati on a premium expensive bike, cheap black plastic hiding the exhaust !!!? Strange I thought I'd hate the twin fork swingarm but I don't miss the single sider however I just wish they had used a Moto-Gp swingarm as that doesn't look safe. . .

If you’re going to ride within the law on the road it’s going to feel like being strapped to a medieval torture rack very , very quickly. And it’s a lot of money to risk on track which is where it belongs but if you can afford then why not,,,

I agree, but so is every high-performance vehicle. It's as much about the thrill of just riding/driving and looking at the things rather than extracting the last % of performance. Maybe jorge martin could do that..for the rest of us..who cares about that

It’s never a good sign when you’re constantly trying to convince yourself it looks good. It needs to be completely clear to lay down that kinda money.

30k but!!!!the new Honda cb1000 sp is £9999 and I know Honda ain’t Ducati but on the road In uk weather I would want the extra 20k in my pocket. If I had cash to splash the Ducati all day.

I have to disagree. Best bike ever.. Not just saying it but paused at 23.55 Side view. I prefer my 2007 ducati 1098. 1098 Better wheels 5 spoke gold Trellis frame red Termi 70mil full system and race ecu slash Termi's Single sided swingarm The pros of the new bike . Dash. More power but not needed. Lighter . I paid £6700 2 owners 9.5k miles fully restored including frame re sprayed. Over 1500 carbon fiber. I personally prefer the older 999's 1098 1198 even 848 evo .. Not keep on the skinny calipers.. Also forged by ducati wheels for that price tag 😮 I do like the air scoop
