Every time I own a big adventure style bike I want a sports bike and then when I get a sports bike I then want an adventure bike again. It’s a never ending circle, only solved by owning one of each.
@daveodo43153 жыл бұрын
I know that feeling. My last bikes I owned at the same time were a gsxr 1000 and a Kawasaki concourse. I loved both of them. I sold both of them due to health issues but I think I’ll be buying a new bike next spring. I can’t wait until next riding season.
@mojosdad683 жыл бұрын
I felt the same way. Back and forth. The solution was the Multistrada - an adventure sport bike. But surprisingly I preferred the 950 (S) over the 1260.

Chop, I love your reviews. I'm 56 and still ride R6 and Duc 1200Monster. I like your take on things from a senior...oops, I mean seasoned point of view. I too rest my gut on the tank. I've often asked why they don't make a sport bike tank with a cut out for a real mans gut, they should because it is often the older rider that can afford these sport bikes.Keep up the great work. I enjoy the 2 of you together - adding TMF could be fun as well. I had the GS - loved it but watching a few of you guys's videos on the RS I sold the GS for the RS. Its a fine bike but after a few long rides (4500km in a few days) I'm missing the GS to be honest. Love the RS gearbox and gearing much more than the GS. I wish BMW would follow the KTM route with their road version of the GS. Like what the 750GS vs 850GS package. Swop the 1250GS normal version with 19"/17" cast wheels and use the RS gearbox for longer gears in 1-3. The GS 1-3rd gear is so short (and for reasons) but build a road version dammit. There are really so many GS riders in South Africa that does maybe 1% off road. So it makes sense - then I'll pop over to the GS in 3 years time again.
