Lambda Players have a new Corpse cleanup effect I thought was cool enough to show. the effect is inspired by Halo 4's Disintegration effect

pretty amazing, i like that its getting a complete rewrite as ive had constant issues with performance using the zeta players,

Pretty cool so far, I just have a question: Will it be optimized well enough to play with 50 lambda players at a time and still have a decent framerate? I tried playing with over a hundred zetas multiple times recently and had to lower host_timescale to not crash by excessive script execution (lots of glua and probably source vphysics)

That's the reason why there's a rewrite. The goal is to be as best optimized as physically possible. Though it's never a good idea really to run hundreds of ai imo

@@SFGlaceon I can see how that is reasonable, no one including myself wants an unnecessary amount of crashes just because of plentiful AI's with high & constant load 👍

While this is cool, I think the zeta players flying to the air and poofing is funnier
