Lamborghini Huracán STO in action on track: Exhaust Sound, Accelerations & Downshifts!

During the 2021 Lamborghini World Finals, the final racing weekend of the Lamborghini one-make series (Super Trofeo), I recorded some brand new Huracán STOs in action on track both to offer passenger hotlap rides but also to give the opportunity to customers and VIPs to try the new weapon (the scenes in which a STO is chasing a Huracán Evo).
The STO, which stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, is the closest Huracán road car to a Super Trofeo or GT3 racecar. It's powered by the usual 5.2-litre V10 engine but which is now able to produce 640hp at 8,000 rpm and 565 Nm of torque. Trying to keep it as close as possible to the racing sisters, it was deprived of front driveshafts and made it rear-wheel drive (compared to the other track-focused specials that precede it).

When the Huracán driving along the track, its sounds just carries as it drives into the distance, a testament to it's supreme audible prowess. I love the snappy, sharp downshifts as well. Handles like its glued to the track. A phenomenal V10 sports car, the STO has taken the place of the LP580-2 for me. Amazing video, wonderful shots, thank you!

@@RookieCodCinema what me affording lamborghini? or it being better than a gt3rs. i've had many fantastic opportunities and i'm currently doing a masters in automotive engineering. i've been very lucky to work with mercedes world brooklands and dk engineering and drive cars i wouldn't have dreamed of, despite the my young age. I'm gonna make the most of what i have and be successful someday, and I hope you change your mind and believe anyone can do that too.
