U should check out all those LS7 motors that are gobbling up all the top pick awards. last I checked the new ten speed Camaro was kicking the ass of anything coming out of BMW or Benz. Including both the M and AMG models. That's not my opinion either. Thats damn near every sports car testing Magazine in print. And here's a super big plus, You don't need a 2nd mortgage to buy, drive or repair one. As for Ford's GT40 V6 TT? Its still Detroit muscle, we just do it better than anyone else when we put our minds to it! On a side note, I own and drive a BMW 750Li daily and I love the car, but it is no match against a Cadillac CTS-V. Trust me on that one, it's from personal experience.

Hi Poida, I know you wrote this comment asking the question 2 years ago, but I was scrolling down the comments when I saw yours and had to answer, I hope you read this. The string is a bungee chord that holds the shoulder harnesses up when they are released, as opposed to them just falling down. The reason is to make driven swaps easier during the endurance races like Spa 24hr, the current incoming driver unbuckles the straps, the shoulder ones pop up, next driver jumps in and just pulls it down rather than having to fiddle with them by looking for them behind him on the seat back. 👍

It's both for safety and for quick driver changes- it's elastic, so when the seatbelt is released all 6 straps are immediately pulled out of the way so the driver can quickly get out of the car, and if needed the next driver can get into the car without getting tangled in the seatbelt straps.

So this is the future. Racing cars have nothing to do with their "supercar" street version anymore. This car has REARWHEELDRIVE. It is 300 kg lighter while the stock one is becoming more and more heavy until it is an SUV (they're actually planning on building a lambo SUV btw). This is just sad. Mercedes AMG is doing an even funnier job with their racing car. While they downsize their fastest car the GTS to a less powerful engine (the 6.3 will produce up to 700 hp, this turbo one barely produces 500) they still put the 6.3 into the racing car. I think these guys don't deserve to build something this ridiculous in the name of some legendary brand.

Even with GT3 and Super Trofeo, it still doesn't make Lamborghini a racing brand like Ferrari or Porsche. Ferrari & Porsche were racing since their foundation. Lamborghini only began a few years ago. Also, they don't have their own factory-backed team. Sure they have Reiter and GRT, but they are customers. Lamborghini only has little support for both teams. I love Lamborghini but I'm being honest.

Do we talk about road legal cars or do we talk about race cars. You can make the Lambo oversteery in a few minutes. Just change the setup. This has something to do with safty and setup idiology from the company (more from VW/Audi than from Lambo). The race cars are well balanced.
