Rob, still keeping pace with you step by step with my ‘62 LI150. Today it started for the first time in 57 years! Also my Scootopia fast-flow fuel tap was made of Brie as well!! Brilliant video, can’t wait for the next one.

I think it was a great shame not filming that all important first engine start Rob. I expected the timing to be correct first time with a properly fitted Vape and glad to hear it was.. I feel your pain about missing parts, I have had the same issue here in Spain which is why my build has taken 7 months and counting! I will be firing up my engine today ( I hope) so fingers crossed. My build has taken place over the same time as yours, it's been an interesting journey as it's the first time in a very long time that I have put a spanner to a Lambretta.

I prefer the original seats too but I’m only 5 foot 8 lol but it’s looking really good and I’m very envious of your workshop 😀

David, all will be explained in the next video. Trust me, you are not the first one to mention it. There is a method in my madness.

Use hair lacquer on the handlebars before you put the grips on. Lubricates on the way on and sticks the grip to the handlebars once it dries. 😀👍

Well I've eventually got to watch the rest & I'm not happy Rob. Missed out on all the best bits & didn't get to hear that engine roar 😭 There's always something missing & it's bloody annoying 😀 Look forward to the next installment 👍🏼 Cheers

Hi!! I’m a follower from Argentina, all your videos are excelent and very helpful for me because I am rebuilding my dad’s Lambretta Li 150 S2. Sorry but I can not find the video number 15, and I need some help with the rear break.

Hi Rob I’ve got the same setup as you with the same 25mm carb I’m struggling with the jetting it’s great going through the gears when it hits the power band but really boggy at low speed what jetting float and needle did you use on your carb as you have kept the air box can’t wait for you to test ride it 👍👍

Not sure yet! I`ll run through the carb settings in the next video when the new jets turn up.

While waiting for parts can you test the electrics? In the middle of the same and was hoping to get some more pointers. Current issue is that the lights go out and the ignition cuts out when I press the horn.
@kickbackgarage4 жыл бұрын
Waiting for jets, so can`t start the scooter. Your problem sounds like the horn is earthing out your ignition.

Kickback Garage your right, but from the wiring arrangement and my very poor knowledge of electrics I can’t figure out why. Will go old school this weekend and keep trying differing ways to connect it until it works right.

Can I use royal purple synthetic oil max gear high performance gear oil SAE 75W-90 with friction modifier additive in my Lamby 200 go engine Cheers 🛵
@kickbackgarage4 жыл бұрын
If you want to use a modern gear oil, them something like maxima MTL-E 85 will work well because it is made for motorcross bikes with a wet clutch.

Sorry mate, but my helper didn`t want to appear on camera and I have to respect that. The only thing you missed really , was prising the legshield bracket past the cables as it isn`t actually bolted down apart from the 2 screws on the bracket.
