I agree, LiAngelo plays better when he lets the game come to him. I thought he did that for the most part. It isn't his fault they weren't passing to him. He is a better passer than what I remember, and I think he has the potential to be a good rebounder as well. The keys for him will be to shoot a similar percentage from 3 than what he shot in the G-League and to become a better defender. I could see him being a decent role player in 3-years' time.

Playing somebody in the 4th quarter only is tuff to gauge anything your only purpose is to kill time vs any other quarter the objective is to win , it’s a different mindset

yea you cant judge anything that way and I blame the coach for that. I watched the game and the perfect time to put Gelo in was in the 2nd quarter when the Hornets were getting beat up and needed shooting badly. Another time was in the 3rd quarter when Melo had them on a run and the lead was down to 9 pts. That was a time when Melo had the Pacers on their heels and needed shooting(spread the floor) to complete the run but the coach made some stupid subs and the Hornets started to get blown out again. When Gelo finally came in it was garbage time and the game was over and Gelo playing with dudes that cant pass.

Hayward has been on the injury list for 2years. Cody has injuries as well. Even if Melo and Gelo don't get together on the courts they still should be practicing together off court, daily. The ROCKY BALBOA motivation training drive videos before sunrise comes to mind.

The last game hornets & bulls play this season is 1st of April, we could still see all 3 brothers on the same nba court. I'm hoping come April Zo fully healthy and G3 establishes himself within the hornets rotation (I wouldn't be mad if he plays some games in the G with 30+ min nights, since last year we were robbed) don't do me dirty April fools 🙏🙏

Take a look at how the Boston Celtics city supports their players. Checkout the send off they gave Kevin Garrett jersey retirement video. From the Hornets training camp I didn't see that they were trained as a team but more like individuals. I can see individuals scattered training on the first training meeting, but after that the group should be split into 2 teams and play against each other to work out the kinks. They should be checking out online videos of their opponents before atleast a day ahead of game time to figure out their weak points Maybe I missed it but I didn't see that type strategy during training camp. But then again they kept alot of things hidden from the public during training camp. Melo and the team need to check their opponents videos on KZbin days ahead to figure out some strategies, looking back after it's over is a day late and a dollar short. Come on Hornets ya gotta get ahead of the situation and turn this around.

Gelo is not a force by himself because he has to be set up he has no handles he's a catch and shoot player who doesnt run well around the court it's his height and body type for the SF position... bcus he definitely not a SG but he definitely a shooter who can hit open shots I just don't see him making the roster with all them wings there

He’s probably struggling in practice. If he can’t be consistent in practice, why would they put him in more? I know it’s pre season but if they got other young players that are competitive, they need to give them the playing time. It ain’t a popularity contest.

I think he’ll make the team this year and I’m pretty sure the team already knows it, which is why LiAngelo isn’t playing much right now. They know it’s a feel good story to keep the fans going while they know the team isn’t very good and not going to win as many games as we should, but this point. I predict he’ll get a lot of PT with all the garbage time we’re likely to get.
