Thank you! I am really excited for you and your Lamium! You are going to love them!

Dead nettle, Lamium, thrives in low light, nutrient, and soil conditions. Great ground cover for those areas nothing else grows! Cool video. My favorite is white nancy and pink pewter! Good video.

I’ve wondered what that plant us called. Your videos are so helpful. Thank you.

I have some in partial sun & full sun. They thrive in both. They seem to grow much faster & larger in size with more sun. That’s my experience.

That is good to know!

Pretty but oh so invasive!

They do seem to spread! I am lucky in my area, though. They are limited to the shady spots in my yard and don't spread to the sunny areas. Utah is particularly hot and dry. Do they spread to sunnier areas where you live?

Nice video! Thank you for sharing! What is the season it blooms typically? And how tall and wide one plant grows ?
@gardenwiseadventures3 жыл бұрын
It blooms from early spring until early fall in Utah. In my yard it only gets around 6" tall and 2 feet wide.

@@gardenwiseadventures thanks very much! I’m trying to get plants of that height to use as a border in my rose garden.

Could these help with masking weeds?
@gardenwiseadventures Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, they don't suppress weeds really well. They are short enough that sunlight can reach the soil and that will allow weed seeds to sprout and grow.

Are they easy to move? I'd like to dig up a bunch and move it to a different part of my garden.
@gardenwiseadventures3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they do move easily. Keep them well watered for the first couple of weeks until they get established.

Can we plant lamium seeds now (mid july)?
@gardenwiseadventures4 жыл бұрын
I would wait until next spring. It is a little too hot for them right now.
