I realize that the Outlander problem could have been solved by the simple momentary surprise usage of the Cruatius crs, as for the "Dolores" for the ones that their parents don't want their children to use such spells on or to use the muggle banned chemistry books set since the teen got caught dumping nuclear waste in the US, then simply steal a book from a Ravenclaw from potions while giving them a stack of books in another suitable stack of books....
