You guys don't realize that her deep singing is actually very hard to do vocally. It takes a lot of breath and a lot of work to master, and Lana has got it down.
@madisonmoon53467 жыл бұрын
sooo good It isn't that hard to sing deeply. I am an alto.

@@Jordan-yv9mr lana is a dugazon, a form of mezzo soprano...
@JDCEO123455 жыл бұрын
@@Jordan-yv9mr a persons voice type is where they are comfortable at. E.g. if you are sick, the place you sing best at is probably where your natural voice is. So if lana were a soprano or anything higher , the lower she goes the harder it should get for her and weaker her voice should go. Like when ariana goes low, it gets quieter and she has to work at it. Mezzo soprano can go low but not too low and high but not as high as a soprano. ETC...

red I think it’s more the way she’s mixing her voice. She’s trying more to cover the sound in this song as opposed to the brighter mix voice she naturally has
@robbie945910 жыл бұрын
Lana's got such a oh phenomenal vocal range and she's not afraid to experiment with it even if it's live in front of a huge crowd. It's almost like she tries things for the first time in front of people. It's so gutsy and inspiring. You are all so used to hearing the monotone, pop-written, shallow songs on the radio. This is real art.

--when people say she can't sing. I laugh. --She is like one of the only artist who transcends a high vocal and lowers it down to low jazzy tone, when singing, which is a hard task to pull off but she does justice. --It's called having vocal range, she makes her song her own on stage and puts emotion she's god. It's called raw talent, every "flaw" in her voice, (that is actually just character) It provokes emotion. Her haunting and unique way of singing makes me feel, and connect to her songs way more than any cookie cutter singer, or auto tuned bullshit. I desire this woman because of the way she makes me feel. Some of her live performances give me goosebumps. For anyone that hates on her live, I'd honestly like to see you try to sing one of her songs and even come close to as good as she sounds.

It's so irritating when people insult the way she sings. "all over the place" or "out of tune" are common ways people describe it. Which is so ignorant, because her voice fluctuates as part of her style and it's actually quite lovely and unique. Completely different from your typical artist, and indescribably beautiful without the falsity of auto tune. Some people are so used to artificial voices they can't even recognize real talent when they hear it, so sad.

I am sorry we disagree but that is the beauty of life and what makes the world go around. I am also sorry that no matter what you say you are not going to convince me or any other fan of Lana's that she can't sing! If her singing offends you then why are you watching this video? What you may think is "talent" or good singing I may not, and vice versa. I think the feeling Lana gives is similar to what they were going for when they produced Lady Gaga, Kesha ad other similar artists(with a old school spin on it). I could be wrong (and if they fooled me, good on em), but Lana seems so genuinely eccentric ad at times, even humble ad down to earth. The labels can't even come close to something this real. What they produce works for some people, I guess, but give me Lana Del Rey and Ray Lamontagne over that other stuff. We should all aspire....

Real music is an art; there are no mistakes in art, there are just different ways of perceiving things.
