All this is great advice and I really had to figure out all this info from experience when I could have just read the Bible as a young man, especially proverbs. I wanted to do the opposite that my Christian parents want from me. I have found my way back to God now! And I'm trying to work on my relationship with the holy spirit and I did give up dating a few years back to work on myself but it ended leading me back to Christ by watching KZbin videos. I must've needed to see this as a reminder. Two months ago I met a Muslim guy and we really liked each other and connected quickly. But a few weeks back I had to put an end to the "potential" relationship we wanted to have because I knew we'd be unequally yoked. Even though he told me he doesn't expect me to convert and really respected my beliefs. We are friends now and only talk once in a while. But it's so hard to get over him 😞 Update: After hearing many testimonies about similar situations and even marriages that did not work out because of this, and because I heard testimonies of people coming out of Islam I no longer have interest in pursuing this man. I went through same thing. It took me a lot of fasting and praying to get to a point where he started repenting. He is still not even half way where he needs to be but he saw a lot of things. Have you tried fasting and forgiving!? Try focusing on ur spiritual right now. Seek the Lord with all if ur heart and He will guide you. Bless you ❤ You are loved more than you think ! I feel alone because of his inability to comprehend any spiritual connection or guidelines. Hence nothing to talk about nor anyb foundation to build on. The only thing I can do right now is give the situation to GOD and let him handle it. Wow! I totally have just been confirmed. I've been considering and accepting that the marriage I got into when I was walking in sin was Lust NOT Love. And this was a confirmation. That the feeling I had of living in hell.. was exactly what happened and what was going on. On the last video I watched there was a question about after being forgiven will we still have to deal with those things? Yes, absolutely. I share a child with someone who was abusive, manipulative and more things.. and yep. The consequences are constantly revealed. I'm so thankful to be walking with Jesus and God again.
