There is a story behind sweetheart rock & that big tide pool. The big tide pool was made by the natives back in the days for the keikis. A couple died at sweetheart rock

Hi there! Where did you park for the night?
@LaineyhulaAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Aloha Maria, it was in West Maui off the main highway south of Lahaina but North of Olowalu. There's no name on the map for it but there's a road that veers off the main highway when it curves if you're driving south on Highway 30 from Lahaina.

@@LaineyhulaAdventures great! So is it allowed to park for free there? Thanks!!!

@@mariagreggi7823 Actually camping in Hawaii should be legally done at a campground so I don't recommend this. This was a last minute trip for us so all the campgrounds were fully booked so we didn't have much choice. I recommend to reserve a camp spot in advance. Olowalu Campgrounds has tent camping, car camping, and cabins.
