This is my favourite video yet! I've only been to Hawaii once and we stayed at Ka'anapali. Can't wait to go back. Maybe with a trip to Lanai. It looked so serene and peaceful. I was surprised at the pine trees. Pine and palm trees together.

I have sensitive feet too and am very prone to blisters as well. Moleskin does help a lot though! And I also overpack everything, I've always been like that. Beautiful video, I love these types of videos . Gorgeous scenery.

Lovely place Christine, beach looked fab! 1 tip I learnt about travelling light in this situation is leave the towels at home and use sarongs instead. They do what you need them to do and are a hell of a lot lighter to lug around!! I spent 2 years travelling and copped on to that in Fiji which made my Australian and Asian travels a lot lighter on my back and shoulders! Get ones that are slightly thicker (even if that means buying the material yourself and sewing one up) and trust me you will only ever use towels for the bath/shower again!

Omg, loved this vlog, of course. The nature with the birds, the ocean with the dolphins and the sand - just awesome! I was a bit scared when I saw the little boy getting caught by the wave. It reminded me of how I almost drowned in the sea as I was nine years old. The last thing I saw were stones right in front of my eyes, then I was unconscious and then woke up as two strong arms were tearing me out of water through the sand. The next day I went smimming again... I was wondering about the kind of airy house constructions, but I realise it has to be that way because of the hot and humid climate. And everywhere plenty of flowers in the entrance area - so beautiful. I am now gardening on our large balcony thinking of your beautiful garden. My husband really loves it and my son watches all the bees. I am wondering how your garden looks now, it always seems so peaceful.

Wonderful getaway! For travel, I highly recommend hammam towels - they're lightweight, absorb water well, and can work as towels, blankets, scarves, sarongs, etc. I get mine on Etsy.
