@kiyoshi23899 жыл бұрын
what happens when you ollie while moving? my problem used to be that it turns when i ollie and if thats yur problem then just stop trying to bail off yur board but if not explain to me what youbare doing and il try to help :D
@sebastianbravo88299 жыл бұрын
Kiyoshi just keep trying, practice makes pros, just try to ollie as u do without moving. Most of begginers cant ollie while moving because it's hard to get your legs high with the board, so just try to jump as high as u can and flick a lot

When I have trouble with a trick and start bailing, I try to visualize myself "landing" the trick. I don't even think about how I'm going to do the trick, just try to see myself landing and it works. My body just does the motion and I have a better time landing the trick.

Lance inspires me to get over some of my absolutely stupid fears with skateboarding when I've been able to do something for ages and just not pushed myself into actually doing it. For example, been skateboarding for 4 years. Can go really fast, skateboard with my dog and recover from pebbles of doom somehow. Until this year hadn't even tried riding off a curb >.>... So easy. (Yet I still have the stupid fear on unknown curbs lol). I used to be a fearless child but then I grew up and became a scaredy cat :/... Anyway, thanks Lance!

Kevin Nusshold what the fuck? kickflip and fs flip on 6 stairs, but can´t ollie a 7 ? first of all respect to do these tricks on a 6 stair!!!! so how about kickflipping a 7 stair? well I guess you are a bit afraid of. so how about putting a little shoebox or something on a 6 stair, so you will basicly have a 7. and then you can tell your self, that you nailed a 7 and try to put that confidence in a try of a real 7 stair. or you could pay attention to the fact how far you are away by the landing of a 6 stair and tell yourself, that it is enougt to nail a 7.

I can now ollie stairs. If any of you are having trouble, find a loading dock to ollie off of first, it helps because you don't have to clear any stairs, so you can work on committing and landing and not so much of speed (you still have to have speed, but not a lot since you don't have to clear stairs). A tip for committing for ollying anything is to not think about it at all. Just think about when you're going to ollie and when to bend your knees when you land. That's it. The more you think about it, the harder it gets to actually do it. Most of the time the falls aren't even that bad when you do happen to fall (usually from bailing out mid air). I've fallen before and as long as you tuck and roll there is nothing to worry about. These are the things I do and have helped me. Good luck.
@drgiggles101210 жыл бұрын
Props Lance. I've been skating for two years and can't even ollie off a curb lol. Try to fix that wooden leg you got there. I used to push like that when I first started; everyone at the skate park called me Peg Leg.
