i learned manuals by doing them in parking lots. first try to do one parking space and then 2 and so on. before you know it you will manual across the whole parking lot until you come to a stop in the manual position. when that happens then try ending your long manuals with an ollie or even a kickflip.

Nice tips

I was able to manual about 4-5 parking lots after 5-6 days of intense training. Then i made myself a balance board and used it whenever I watched a movie or series and after a week I could suddenly hold my manual as long as i wanted

I think it is easier if your weight is more on the toes on the front foot. That way you can balance the manual by flexing your ankle and not only the knee. It looks like Aaron is doing that while Lance's front foot is more flat on the board

I might have advised Lance to have his front foot higher up, as if he'd already done an ollie, and also to slightly roll his front ankle - I find it's a lot easier to control my balance like that.

How much more difficult is it land a trick on a manual? Is that like a whole new level or does it happen easy once you've mastered manuals on flat ground?
@ashadypanda8 жыл бұрын
It's more difficult because you're landing with a lot of weight and force, and your goal is too land on two wheels.
