From a business standpoint they have more advertising venues. They stock all the mainstream skate/surf shops whereas banana boards are more rare to find. On the website they also have a custom option for every piece including wheels, trucks, bolts to deck.

My friends and I had little plastic skateboards when i was a kid, eons ago. I dont remember the wheels being anywhere near as big as the plastic boards have on em nowadays. In fact I distinctively remember mine had pretty small wheels, mid to late seventies btw.

The closest I've seen to what I first started riding in 82'@ 7 years old. Then came BTTF and The Bones Brigade! That's how it all really went down back in the day kids. The west coast went world wide from these very two elements lol.

Stiff with light flex and supports your foot, unlike a Penny which flexes waaay too much. Wheels are definitely soft and squishy, rolls over small bumps and cracks and gives a much smoother ride than a Penny. Trucks are pretty decent, switched the stock bushings for Bones Hardcore mediums, rides like a dream! Pretty fun commuter board, definitely better than a crappy little Penny!

this if you're okay with riding such a tiny deck. The globe bantam is also a good choice if you want a bit of a larger, more stable ride. Happy skating!

Dam that kid has some serious balance to ride like that. Here's an idea ride that banana board for a few week perhaps longer. Then ride your regular board I promise you will skate much better. It's all about the balance. Balance is key. Nice laugh Mountain. Same as it ever was. Stay golden.

Stereo has horrible wheels, bearings, and bushings. Penny has okay wheels, good bearings, and great bushings. Gold Cup Banana Board has Stoke em's, which are the best longboard wheel I've ever used, a good grip on top, a swooped nose, and amazing bushings. So someone still, doesn't know the difference between trash and treasure. Now stfu, please.
