I think Lance’s team will be 1, Dragonite 2: Gyarados 3, Hydreigon 4, Kingdra 5, Charizard with Mega Charizard X because Lance is a dragon master and he uses one in his Rematch team from LGPEand while Alain already has one but we have seen three trainers in the anime use Mega Lucario Ash, Korrina and Gurkinn 6, Aerodactyl Rotations 7, Salamence / Mega Salamence another Mega option 8, Alolan Exeggutor another one from his LGPE team rematch 9, Garchomp / Mega Garchomp 10, Haxorous 11: Dragopult since he did train To Raihan’s Gym so he could’ve captured a Dreepy 12, Wild Card Naganadul or Dracozolt since we have yet to see it I’m excluding Altaria since we have already seen it’s mega Used by Two trainers in the anime Drasna and Lisia.

For me, Lance's team at the Masters Eight Tournament would be: Dragonite, Gyarados✨, Charizard, Aerodactyl, Hydreigon and Tyranitar Kingdra is a good Pokémon for Lance, but I think that Tyranitar would be a better option to differentiate his team from his cousin Clair. I also think it would be great if the Champion of Kanto and Johto had the Pseudo-Legendaries of both regions 🔥🐉

Guzzlord is a better candidate than Naganadel. There is a known occurrence of multiple spawns at once during the alola tournament. It's pretty simple to assume that lance could've caught one of them for studies and now has it as a secret ace.

A physical set dragonite and a special set with his physical dragon dance Dragonite be his ace with Charizard being a close 2nd because we all know Charizard was his starter if not Dratini. I think Mega Charizard X would be more fitting for Lance's type specialty. I think his team should be 1) Dragonite (ace, Dragon Claw, Wing Attack, Thunder Punch, Dragon Dance) 2) Charizard (2nd from ace Mega X or Y Lance should be able to use both to his choosing. Knowing Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Hurricane, Dragon Pulse, Solar Beam) 3) Shiny Gyarados (Aqua Tail, Earthquake, Ice Fang, Dragon Dance) 4) Salamence (Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Dance) 5) Hydreigon (Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower) 6) Special Dragonite (more relaxed Dragonite knowing Dragon Pulse, Hurricane, Thunder and Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Flamethrower)

If they did give Lance another Dragonite, they probably give him a shiny one for distinction. :P Mega Charizard Y deserves a better showcasing after what happened with Trevor, but that probably won't happen here. I'd lean towards Mega Aerodactyl as the Mega choice, as we haven't seen one battle in the anime yet. Kingdra seems like a situational choice; it's a cool reference to Clair, but unless there's a water field... But overall, this feels like the ultimate Dragon crew.

I do honestly believe as it looks like we're getting lots of Pokémon from the games used by trainer in the masters 8 it does seem to me like the 6 Pokémon Lance has are the 3 he's using against Diantha Dragonite, Hydreigon and Gyarados and maybe he has Kingdra, Aerodactyl and Charizard. I do think if he has Charizard, even as Mega evolution, it would be funny but good as he'd be the 4th masters 8 trainer we know to own a Charizard along with Leon, Alain, and Ash. Imagine if all of them used a Charizard... Fans would call it more overrated 😅? I'm excited for the next videos!

I don't think lance should have garchomp.. Because cynthia already has one and it is possible that Iris' gible has evolved to garchomp... Also I don't feel Altaria suits lance, I feel iris deserves Aktaria more than lance I agree with rest of the video

If I were designing Lance's team for the anime, I'd say give him Dragonite (obviously, and only one) Gyarados (obviously) Hydreigon Flygon Duraludon (if he trained with Raihan he might have caught one of his own, plus it's a good counter to ice and fairy types) Naganadel (not really a legendary so it's fair game, plus it also deals with his fairy weakness) Honourable mentions include Kommo-o, Charizard, Aerodactyl, Noivern and Salamence I don't see Lance using kingdra cos unlike Gyarados, it's completely useless and immobile out of water

Don't know about the rest of you but I always found lance really hard to beat in soul silver I had to keep ice fang on my faraligater just to help me deal with his 3 dragonite

I think most of us did it in the original. Then ended up with a feralogatr that today would seem funny. Slash was amazing so it was a must, surf was always there, ice fang simply due to dragons, and if you haven't had to use another hm at the time probably hydro pump or eq unless you breed one for rock slide or crunch or something. Soul silver was a little easier due to the special split
