He's so right about that jockish thing. Lot of skaters taking themselves way to seriously nowadays. Street League & Nike bullshit, Sheckler, Huston, Shane O' Neil, Malto... Just like a bunch of college footballers with a skateboard and couple tattoos to look cooler. Bunch of robot with all the same tricks. Screw that shit. Like it or not, Ellington is right. Where is the real urban street vibe where skateboarding is coming from? Do your homework and watch movies from the very early 90's all the way up to the early 2000's. You'll see what skateboarding really is deep to its core and how far from that we are now with all those nice cleancut healthy jocks. Fuck that.

Big Ellington fan he speaks some truth on skating in this for sure. Skating has become so mainstream. It's different now you find out everything so quickly an can see anything on youtube. It's not like back in the day when your buddy or you is like oh man you gotta check this new skate vid by Zero, Flip, Blind, whatever brand you prefer and you go to someone's house and kick back and watch the same vid a hundred times.
