---
This is a blue 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2.0L 4G94 SOHC AUTO FWD.
---
ซ้อมรถสั่นตอนวิ่ง 100
The front side of the car car slipped off the jack stand and then the steering wheel started to be shaking or vibrating. Here are the things that I did to find the fix:
1. I changed front rotors เปลี่ยนจานดิสแบรค
2. I changed front struts เปลี่ยนโชคอัพ
3. I change right front axle เป็นเพลาขับ
4. I changed the inner tie rods เปลี่ยนลูกหมากด้านใน
About $200
For balancing, I use tape measure to measure the gaps between the front wheels. The gaps are at the front of the wheels, and the back of the wheels. I measure right on one of the lines on the surface of the tires and also on the inside cheeks of the tires. I drive around and come back to measure and see if the gaps are the same. Then I adjust the tie rod if they aren't. I would do this for like 10 times.. just to make sure.
It amazingly feels better after changing the inner tie rods. However, there is still a very little vibration during 60 mph. THE REAL CAUSE is the WHEELS AND TIRES. They are out of balance or warned out or too old.
---
For the sockets and stuff I would suggest you to buy the whole set. Same thing with the wrenches, get the set.
Only two special socket and one big wrench for them that you need to buy.
+19mm or 3/4" socket (1/2" drive)
+31.75 - 32mm or 1-1/4" Socket (1/2" drive)
+Big wrench (1/2" drive) 3:45 a "17-Inch Breaker Bar with a Flex Head".
The pipe, you can just walk in the store and try on like this 3:49
Other tools:
+5" C clamp
+Vise-Grip Curved Jaw Locking Pliers
+1 pair of 10"(or above) Coil Spring Compressor
+Inner Tie Rod Remover/Installer Tool
+a big(or small) metal(or brass) hammer
+zip-ties
---
Mods on this car:
*Red calipers, red drums
*Security alarm CrimeStopper SP-400 with the engine start system
*Trunk release kit
*GENUINE A/C heater air controller gears kit

I had the problem with steering wheel shaking at about70mph and finally found the issue. I had a wheel alignment and tire balance. Then recently found out I had a bent rim in one of my front tires. I bought my rims off Craigslist so now I'm just buy a replacement per rim for my 2011 Mustang. I switched that front rim to the back away from my sensors which kept going off because of the tire shake. And now it's not even noticeable. Since I put the tire in the rear. But I will still replace the wheel. The shaking had dropped several weights on my wheel balance and I redid the wheel balance. Now it is beast. Check your tires and rims too people

WAAOO!! This has been THE BEST CAR MECHANICS video that I have seen. It was cool, Funny, straight to the point in every stage of the fix. And you actually showed everything you went through, while trying to fix the problem until it was actually fixed. Very rare seeing such a meticulous all-in-one video project. You deserve and should get a KZbin award for such an amazing video.

I currently have the same problem only because the mechanic that just replace my front struts. Which needed replacing struck both my outer tie rods with hammer accidentally bursting the boots. And now everytime I hit 60mph front shakes. Just ordered two outer tie rods. I had to like this video for his perseverance and hard work. Plus he is the most average and relatable Joe I ever seen work on a vehicle with regular tools. He is inspiring for it do evident like most of us he not a mechanic yet, fierce as can be to achieve his objective. Just going to need an alignment next.

Haha If I can afford Subaru, I would have gotten an EVO. X) It was only $3,000. A 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX cost $10,995 with 178083 mi on it. Hmm.... oO 1. It's got about 160,000+ miles on it. 150,000+ when I got it. 2. It's in Minnesota, we got snow every year and we use salt a lot. (Salt is bad for metal) 3. I drive like I play Need For Speed. LOL Gotta mention this. 4. This is how I call it "MY CAR." I work on it. :D Thanks for commenting!
@DarkDragonWing

Thank you. And oh no, I fixed it. The main reason why the car shakes at the first place is the front wheels and tires. They were getting old and stuff, so they don't spin nicely which causes vibration. And that causes other part to fail also such as inner- tie-rods. . @DdgeShelby
@DdgeShelby 4 жыл бұрын
@@mrcokez1 rear engine mount is just a torque mount same as the front radiator support mount The load bearing engine mounts are the driver and passengers side. If the trans mount fails, that could drop the back edge of the engine causing some load on the axles.

Great video/s of DIY repairs. Yes there are people who will find flaws and point them out, but it's important to understand that this is to give general guidance to those who have the skills, tools and capacity to undertake thier own repairs, so this is a great guide. I have a cj lancer that creeks and vibrates at the steering wheel. I to have changed rotors, bushes, suspension and no luck. But having watched your videos I'll need to change one more thing. If that doesn't fix it...I am at a loss! Great videos though, well done.

:D Well, I don't know about that. With all 8 episodes of Lancer Fix together, I haven't spent over $900 yet(cheapest parts on eBay + free installations by me). But yes, I can buy a running car with that money, but I love my car! lol I took my car to the shop once, they said it would cost me $1300 just to change brake shoes/dishes/drums for all wheels and front struts. They didn't even mention "inner tie rods."
