Great video! I'm heading up there Memorial day weekend. Any advice would be appreciated!
@MainelyOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
Mayflies and caddis should work well then. Fish nymphs during the morning/afternoon if its cold. Emergers as the day progresses and dry flies of what ever is hatching in the evening. You might see me out there too so just ask 😂

Do you bleed your fish after knocking them out?

Sometimes depends on the size of the fish really. Most fresh water fish I don’t find a need too. especially if I’m cooking them soon

apparently jacob gave up youtube? I was at GLS for the following 3 days after you left apparently, fishing was good since nobody thought the fish were above the falls. they were in the entire river and its always a treat when it happens that way. a little exploring usually pays off ;-)
@MainelyOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
Yeah they were pushing up when I was there but man my last trip I really got into them below the falls! Plenty of fish in the rivers now! Jacob still plans to post occasionally when he gets a good video but he's done really well on tic toc! so he tends to upload there instead. Little easier since he has a family and doesn’t want to spend too much time editing.

I could give you a hot tip on some good fishing but I can’t figure out how to message you. People haven’t figured it out yet but they will. What’s the best way to message on here so the world does t see it?
