I have to check this movie. Nice to see Germans actually bearing some consequences of what their country has done. Shame in Poland we have to pay from our budget 75 years after the war ended for bomb disposal because still they are found so often that people in some cities treat bomb transports as something normal.

All war reperations are dissolved. If you demand something, the polish-german-treaties are broken and you dont lawfully own the german land you annected after both wars anymore.

@@fianhazel2487 So what should the Danes have done? Cleared the mines by themselves? Why should they risk their people for something they had no part in? Should they just leave the mines where they were? Obviously not. They took Germans who were formally in the Wehrmacht as they were the closest to the ones responsible for laying the mines in there and forced them to clear them out. Nothing wrong with that, it was the best solution.

@@kusajko3644 Nothing wrong with committing a war crime according to the Geneva convention? Lol, it literally states, “Prisoners of war must at all times be humanely treated. Amateur historians who's only reason for liking Germany goes as deep as their uniforms. Forgetting the parts where Germany fought a war for literal genocide purposes while violating every pact and treaty they could find. Germany deserved much more than this, and should have been the first to taste nuclear fire.
