What oil viscosity - standard uk is 15w/40 but that climate may determine something thinner. Do a compression next service, its an old engine albeit tough!

a tdi needs no glowing, my one starts without problems at -20°c after two rev.. adjust the valves and give him 5 w30.

@1:23 and @1:28 is that rough crashing sound coming from the starter/bellhousing area? Sounds like teeth worn or chipped off on either/both the starter pinion or/and ring-gear. It's reluctant to start, rough for a second or so after starting, evens out when revved at ~1250rpm, but gets rough again when at idle of ~600rpm. Air being sucked into the inlet fuel line somewhere? Don't get me wrong; I quite like the Discovery 1 Land Rovers, disappointing this one seems to be running below par. :(

Legközelebb alapból kétszer izzíts egymás után, és amikor tekeri, és érzed hogy már besegít az öngyulladás is, ne hagyd abba az indítózást hanem tekerd tekerd ha 10 másodpercig akkor addig ha meg 20 akkor meg addig. Anno w123-as 240D-t 1!!! percig kellett indítózni a -20 fokban, de ha már kezdi elkapni sosem szabad abbahagyni az indítózást. :) A km amúgy valós? A miénk 450e valóssal könnyebben indult, csak azért kérdem :)
