Land Rover ENV Series 2AHD 4 7 Differential

A Long time ago, LR asked Eaton (a brilliant Axle / Differential company) to help with a special project to make a really seriously heavy duty axle(s) for them.
The project was called a "ENV" and was definitely a VERY "HD" option when 1st designed - only made in "Series" 4.7:1 ratio.
Its was on both front and rear axles of the early "Forward Control" LRs, and also for a short time it was available as a factory order as a HD Upgrade Option' on 1 Tonne Series 2A Rear Axles.
But..............🤨
As with all things LR they got difficult with Eaton, decided they wanted to save money, so the project was cancelled and they all fell out.
Instead LR went to 'Dana', and bought one of there old (even at that time) axles called a DANA 60.
Being LR and not getting it right being part of the managements DNA they didn't even get this right - they didn't buy it all, they just bought the centre and decided to use LR Half shafts and drive gears, not DANAs...
Guess which parts break ?
So, the ENV ? ....We have one ! 😍
Its been apart rebuilt, lots of nice new very rare and very expensive parts and is now going on the webshop.
If you want to buy it it also comes with a axle tube, stub shafts and 2 x Half shafts
Oh what this could have been if LR had just carried on and got it right ..

Can't believe it these are what I've been looking at as wanting to build a 1 ton replica or Salisbury front and rear .

I have one of these in my 70' 109. I noticed you mentioned you replaced 2 bearings. I'm looking for the third one , the nose cone one. Is this available ?
