Another great video. Your engineering background shows through. In the video you used your half inch ratchet with the lever in the circular head, never seen one like that before, what make is it. I am a tool nerd, no other explanation!

It is a cheap Canadian Tire ratchet - now discontinued I buy their tools on special and they all have a lifetime unlimited warranty www.canadiantire.ca/content/canadian-tire/en/hot-deals/tools-hardware.html?adlocation=ST_ToolsHardwareDeals_HOS_en

OT, at least here, but do you think you could do a vid (n you do have a 300TDi in bits ) about pump flow versus pressure ( you know, pumps crate flow, restriction...) , and explain the 'oil wedge' that a main or big end "bearing" creates. I understand it, but lots don't, and you are a natural teacher.

I was thinking of doing this with a video about the 300Tdi oil pump

Thanks! I really wanted to do a transfer case overhaul, but I didn't film it all as I had to get the job done! Mike
Britannica Restorations for what i know in iltaly is called "calibro". In eanglish is called caliber. For istance if you go in google translate and translate from italian calibro in eanglesh would be caliber.

It seems the the original word caliber is a 16th century word that became caliper in modern English, so perhaps you are right in using Google translate in Italian, which is Latin based, however in engineering terms for the last 200+ years, caliper is the word used From Wikipedia : A caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object Thank you for your interest!
