Would love CBC to come back for a visit to showcase then & now. I live in Toronto, but I consider Burnt Islands my home

I like that Newfies remain as ingenious and plain hearted as they were back then.

They should of come to New Zealand for ideas on how to longline properly. We have it pretty much perfected it now and were decades ahead of new foundland in the 90s

I visit every year (... pre COVID) - but I'd love for CBC to come out with an update re: the fisheries. My whole family lives there, and some of my cousins/uncles were features in this. I recommend a visit or a pass-through - I'm so glad my childhood was spent here. Nothing like it. Burnoners are the best!
