you guys do it all.. so your a licensed general contractor? i guess you get more work that way and great money . in all my years of tiling i have always just stuck to the actual tiling part, no plumbing, no shower doors, no vanities, no building walls etc. i probably should of gotten my GC license years ago to be able to do a complete job because its nice for a customer to hire just one company. i still am able to keep months busy on my schedule here in FL. without doing it all and 60 percent of my work is re doing showers. great work my friend.

@Aepek2 жыл бұрын
5:22 @lanberg tile tv see using homax caulk tooling tool, different way. Find get better results, know dumb question as tool very used and see the caulk job…. But interesting that using that way; or maybe Everyone else is using it wrong😂 Cool tip noticed, & now will try when caulk next week. Cheers✌🏻

@Landberg Tile TV Thank you. I agree. I did a test with a 1/4 x 1/4 notch for the porcelain 12x12 and 6x12 tiles and have practically 100% coverage when lifting one up. I have a 3/16 x 1/3 v notch, will that size work? I truly appreciate your wisdom as this is my first tile job, and you taught me a ton and I feel confident

The look on face when learn that someone grabbed 511 seal & enhance, instead of, 511 Impregnator sealer……and realizing this after 2 coats & 2-3 days later 🤦🏼 So, for all those DIY, pro to, etc….ya want 511 Impregnator sealer; unless want to really change “sheen/look” of “tile” used….than use seal & enhance;. My go to is 511 Impregnator sealer, mapei makes an ok product too (penetrating sb….) when can’t find 511, but my go to is 511. Nice job on tile👍🏻 Cheers✌🏻

Ok problem# 1/Chrome shower door handles and hinges do not look good with the gold finish you installed for them. Should have explained to them to put either all gold or all chrome. Since marble is grey then all chrome would look better then gold. Problem #2/ no one will ever keep up on the maintenance of resealing their shower every year and depending on how much usage the shower gets..... May need to be done every 6 months. That's why I always recommend porcelain tile for a maintenance free shower. But I'm sure you already explained to them that and they still wanted that marble. Anyhow great work. Have a great holiday everyone!

I think most modern bathrooms will outlive client depending on age. I once quoted for a customer a complete rip out and rebuild, I told them I use quality waterproofing material, and told them most material I use gives a 20 year guarantee. He was like no I don’t need that because he probably won’t be alive then, oh well guess what he went with the cheaper quote probably direct bonding to plasterboard. Well let’s see when I will get a call from him.😂😂

Couple comments. One, the work as usual is exemplary. Two, interesting the client picked gold fixtures. I don't see than color used much anymore. And three, call me the broken record, but what a waste of floorspace that bench is. My bet, the client will regret that decision over the long haul.
