Hahahaha of course they just had to be! It also ties into the older lore for them too from previous games where there used to be plenty of lots that were actually named after them!

This is such a great build. Love the motel. And here in Florida I lived in a motel for about 3 months. A super 8. Not a fancy place at all. I totally am having my sim live in a motel.

For security I put a base ball bat next to the front office desk.. PERFECT!! wow, you also got a second one down in the basement next to the electric panel as well. haa I had a motel I had used before the pack even came out.. just not able to separate all the units, so it was played as an 8 person unit, but I would lock all the doors for just the one sim that lived in that single room.. and it had lots of shared space as well where they would all go and hang out and do whatever it is Sims do.. but now I have been able to convert that into the rentals.. and really did not have to do a whole lot.. added the electric boxes, the water heaters, the radiators, the air conditioners, and just partition off all the rooms, add some mail boxes.. I got 7 rooms on the 2nd floor, and one owners room which is several rooms on the first floor.. and it was made for the large lot in Strangerville, a 50x40 I think it is.. where the plane went down.. I did a Landgraab makeover added a couple of teen girls to the family as well.. and they are buying up all of Morensong.. and renting them all out.. got a triplex for the Landgraab family.. Nancy and Geoffrey have the top unit and Malcolm has his own unit and the two teen girls share the other.. and its going great now you can switch back and forth between households, that makes that easier if you want to do that.. Nancy is about to head off to College for an acting career..

Wow that sounds awesome!! Yeah I tried building lots like this a few times over the years, but never really finished them because they were so annoying to actually use! Now I have an excuse though & can actually have them function a bit better!
