Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing a co-op challenge where we try to land a biplane on a moving flatbed trailer! I'm building the trailer truck while @Yzuei builds the biplane. How hard can it be?

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I had a crazy thought for what you could do next, but I feel like it is definitely possible! In the plane-on-plane landing video, when Scrapman built the plane, he was able to fly scraping the water. So what if you guys try to drive a boat into a cargo plane that's scraping the water?? I think it's possible, but would definitely be interesting to see! 😂

A helicopter that is a helipad that has a helicopter land on it which is a runway on which a plane lands. And then the pad lands on a ship which is a hovercraft that drives onto a flatbed, which then drives a lap around the map without losing any one vehicle.

So rare when like you're building something with a friend and it all just works on the first iterations of your two vehicles lol. So satisfying. This is why I love playing trailmakers because yeah it's frustrating and tedious and time consuming, but when your thing finally works exactly as intended it's such a good feeling.

I’ve seen this before irl. If you have an airshow nearby, I would recommend going to it. The amazing acrobatics an extra 300 and its biplane counterpart can do is pretty amazing. And the cub landing on the pickup truck is very entertaining

Sometime in WW2, two Flying Fortress’s had crashed into each other, but they “flew piggyback”. They were still in the air connected by the metal wedging together. They managed to land safely after that. I think it would be cool if you guys attempted to do something similar. Yarnhub the KZbinr made a really good documentary about it, use it for reference.

I had the idea of making a Semi myself for a campaign playthrough, with an attached crane on it. I didnt know how I was going to do the bed of the truck/trailer. Thank you for telling me that a strength of 0 on a servo will basically make it a free moving trailer :) Helps me out a lot

Hey Scrapman, i know this suggestion may be quite difficult, but I would love to see a gliding submarine (meaning that it can jump out of the water and glide for a bit of time, but is not powered while in the air) land on a plane. To make it easier, you could probably use the large cargo jet Yzuei built for landing a plane on another plane.

Really enjoyed the video, and also the others in this series! A suggestion for another video: both create fast cars but disable the built-in breaks. Now add mechanical breaking mechanism and see who is able to stop the quickest. You could repeat this for different types of vehicles, such as a race car, for an offroad car and a flatbed truck

Hoop Fight. Build two pilotable flying hoops with sensors that can detect if anything passes through the hole. The goal of the dog fight is to fire a non explosive torpedo through the other persons hole, while dodging any fired at you. Wire the sensors so any detected goal immediately cuts the engines - causing them to plummet out of the sky. Infinite repairs until someone scores a torpedo through a hoop.

So, you've caught aircraft with submarines, caught aircraft with aircraft, caught cars with aircraft, and caught aircraft with cars. I think the next logical step is to catch a submarine with an aircraft. XD

Day 7 of asking ScrapMan to make a 2v2 video where each team makes a cargo plane that launches a glider one person makes the glider another makes the cargo plane and whoever's glider goes the most far wins then each round both teams get 1-5 mins to upgrade the builds but they cant communicate while building so u have to be very careful with what u change. The cargo plane would launch the glider at a certain point or after a certain amount of time idk what would work better. I think this would be a great video and I really want to see it, keep up the amazing work you make my day every time I watch one of your videos.

Idea: A plane that lands on a submersable truck that comes out of the water onto land grabs the plane and then drives back into the water while still holding the plane then the truck drives up to the surface to release the plane from the water.

Scrapman, my suggestion is you try to catch a helicopter between the landing gear with a plane. This will be very hard if you choose it of course so if you don't choose it that's fine.

There is a red bull stunt that seems cool to me, It could be fun in trail makers, 2 pilots jumped mid air and tried to swap planes. Unfortunately during the stunt 1 of the pilots failed and couldn't make it to the plane. But guys could succeed, which could make it fun and a little harder, each one of you build your own plane instead of using the same plane with the same characteristics, and maybe put some distance between the 2 of you, And land safely!

What about a three person stunt? One is driving a car, the second one is flying a helicopter and the third person is hanging on a "rope" at the helicopter (I think preferable in a seat and he needs to get into the car, to end the journey in the car. Optional you can do it the other way around too.

Scrap man you should play teratech. Teratech is a similar game to trailmakers and has neer a thousand blocks to build different techs. The game has a plethora of missions to complete and is incredibly fun for our creative minds -Logan

I think it be a challenge if you tried to land a big airliner plane, but the kick would be when landing one of the landing gears sets of wheels breaks, at random, so you don't know if it's the front or one of the sides, and then you need to assit it with a truck, and some how land the air plane whith the truck being the missing wheel.😅

i got an idea from this, seeing a person chasing the truck, u can do a multiplayer challenge of may be 4 or 5 people like mad max fury road style, in which 2 or 3 people drive and protect the war rig having guns and try surviving the enemy atack. There will be 2 attackers with any other two vehicles fron the mad max movie,mad max themed distruction derby basically.
