For me, The two most influential and motivating people I know are the Patey brothers. Their story on how they started is incredible. I was also diagnosed with adhd and got off all those meds when I was young and turned it into a super power. I can relate to the unbalance, and I also live by the 2% over expectations for my business. If anyone hasn’t heard marks talk about how they started it’s a must see. Hi Mike, greetings from Argentina. I missed your videos, so thank you for this one. Speaking of witch, in my modest opinion the fact that you recognize your work addiction is a clear sign for you to balance a bit more in between working and relaxing. In other words, what is the purpouse of working so hard and for so long time if you can´t enjoy all that you have worked for? Relaxing is not a sin; it´s a need to re-charge "batteries". This was just my humble but honest contribution. As always, cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina, (a dream place).

No one has ever wished they worked more, when they are facing the end of their life. They always wish they took more time to smell the flowers and be with family. I LOVE Airplanes! I love everything about them. I have it in my blood. My Grandfather built IPs for B-29s at Bell aircraft (now Lockheed-Martin) here in Atlanta circa WWII, and after! One of my earliest memories was him taking me to the plant when I was a toddler. The sounds, the smells, the sheer SIZE of the place! Unfortunately, I can't enjoy *riding* in airplanes as I have ALSO had motion sickness all of my almost 64 years! Every business flight I've taken was cold sweat and vertigo from roll out to pulling up at the gate! Never actually had to use a barf bag but the first thing I did when I got to my seat was to make sure it was in the seat pocket in front of me. Dramamine doesn't help much. Neither does the rubber band snapping on the wrist. Didn't travel enough to warrant looking into any other options. Now retired and probably won't get in an airplane again... 🤢

Mike, It’s not easy to let go and break away mentally. I can however vouch for both sides and make mention, after a mentally acknowledged 18 years of head down and grindstone, it is a great accomplishment to give up minute portions of control to actually comprehend that there needs to be a “red light”. Bringing that force of nature to a spot in space time continuum that actually jumps out, scares me, and to that my mind clicks and I understand that life around me is ever changing and taking the lead to step back and live in the moment becomes easier! Being given the time to acknowledge what “it” is, is the first step. I’m happy for you Mike. Seconds to minutes, minutes to a half hour…. Here i am this beautiful morning in the Pacific North west on my front porch with a cup of coffee, hopefully… sharing my experience with those who might relate to my story. That fancy machine looks amazing Mark!
