Hi MooMoo, Did the Fusion 480 rudder catch floating algae during your ocean or lake trips? Do you think the kick up rudder will be better than the standard rudder?. I am still considering purchasing this kayak just because of the over stern rudder option. Thanks for your videos, I really enjoy them.

I haven't had any issue with it yet. I did have some weeds on the rudder in the delta but I was able to get them off by going reverse. I heard under stern rudder is more responsive but I might try the over stern rudder in the future.

It's usually same as trout limit at the lake but some lakes can be different. Check the regulation before going.

In Michigan we have Chinook and Coho in Lake Michigan. The taste is a little different and the color is not as orange due to the lack of krill/shrimp in their diet, still very good. I did a comparison this summer from an Alaska fishing trip, and the Alaskan salmon were better.

They were salmon pink. Most of the salmon I catch in the ocean are more orange.
