I had two small rental houses on the outer banks of NC. Ive seen it all. My last tenant was beyond amazing and left the place immaculate. He worked for a local boat builder and only left because of a serious fall on the job and he and his wife moved in with her family members. He was one in a million. I chose to sell the houses after that. So glad I’m done with rentals. I feel for you Marie. Wish I was there to help.

The cans of baby milk was sad for me . They probably had government assistance to get it and they didn’t even care enough for the baby to take it with them. People ask for low cost housing but if you have a basic house and you get someone cooking meth in the house you have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to have a hazmat company to dispose of it. You ladies worked together great and did a good job clearing out the trash.

I used to clean properties and do repairs between renters so I know what your going thru. It takes a whole lot of scrubbing in the shower to even feel halfway clean after working in these rentals. Cudos to you for all the hard work in nasty conditions. God Bless😊❤

I never had problems with renters like this...except 1 asked if she could rent to own and it took 10 years before she finally decided to move on and she never kept up with repairs as agreed...the extra monthly rent helped with that in the end

What a mess and so embarrassing. So sorry girls that people can't even be clean. My family rented and when we left we all helped my Mom to scrub the floors and tidy up before we left. Mom made our house a home no matter were we lived. I have my own house now and I keep it neat and clean just like my Mom taught us. My son and his family rent and they too keep a neat and tidy home. Oh my gosh, that is totally disgusting. I’ve moved several times in my life, but I have never left debris behind maybe dirty rugs because of the constant running up and down the hallways and stuff, but never left the refrigerator full of garbage never left trash behind and being so warm out there, that’s the only dirty nasty. If you get a rat living in the house and tearing out the walls it just goes to show how nasty and dirty the family was. It lived there because if they kept it clean you wouldn’t have that that badly you’re bound to have mice wherever you live Old houses do have them cockroaches adjust the side of something really dirty and I’m sorry ladies I’d be right there with you out the door throwing my guts up I can just imagine what the smell is like in there. Marie, i have lived in the same rental apartment since September 2011. I have noticed that when tenants move out the owner spends thousands of dollars and hours to turn the apartments around. I personally have seen how some tenants leave their apartment. It's totally disgusting. The one tenant had 486 nail holes in the walls. Another tenants refrigerator was orange from 17 years of chain smoking cigars in the apartment. (New tenants rent as none smoking units now.) Large holes in walls, carpets stained, marker/crayon on walls, door handles broken, and all the trash and broken furniture left just to mention. It's not just you it's all over our country.

We had roaches like that when I lived in Cali but what I hated the most were these 1inch by 1/2inch black Japanese Water Beatles. Japan could have kept them all. Here in Amarillo Texas I haven't had many troubles with bugs except for flies when bbq'ing.

My lawyer recommended only “rent-to-own” with my property. That way, tenant is totally responsible for repairs, taxes, etc. if they remit on payment, property reverts to previous owner

Been there many times with our rentals over the years. Recently cleaned up one and had it rented. Tenant went to move in and squatters had been there. In a short two weeks, it looked like yours. For the first time ever, we hired people to clean and paint and we then sold it.

Got bed bugs once. Used 90% isopropyl alcohol. Sprayed that all over everyday for a week I think. Got rid of them. It like dries them out or something. Like they can live 6 months without a meal or something it’s crazy! Permethrin 38% or diatomacous earth also works good on hard to get rid of bugs. For future reference.

Oh girls how horrendous for you… I’ve done it…you wonder what kind of human can live in that filth… it’s usually alcoholic or drug addicts I have. Leaned houses and apartments after both… I feel sorry for a lot of addicts as they need help but don’t always want it till ther at deaths door… I’ve dealt with that as well… you shld have your hair up under your caps girls…if you have any face masks to put in whilst your cleaning that other ‘bedroom’ (I use the term loosely) it looks like the dump wer you take the trash…you don’t want to be breathing in the rat urine fumes once you move stuff round…bang some pan lids together b4 you move stuff as ther cld be rats in the mattress … be careful…I used to put a dab of perfume on the end of my nose and on wrists so I cld sniff wrist every so often to get the stench out of nostrils… Well the ponies wer all adorable absolutely adorable…❤

Pure and utter filth. I am guessing by the "white top" that was who was renting it. Most likely sold the appliances for drugs. I hope the video goes viral and they never get another place to live. I feel for you having to go through the house and shovel all that shit out. I doubt you will ever get your money they owe. People like that have no morals. I am not local or I would have shared the heck out of the video. I hope people that know them make sure to tell them that they have seen the filthy mess they left. I am sure you live in a small enough town that word will get around that they are trash.

That fact you wish that for a struggling family is disgusting… maybe she should’ve made things more clear about how it was nice and clean when she did a walkthrough a month and a half prior to this video and wouldn’t let them go back to collect the rest of there belongings and clean the place but her keeping the deposit was more important…. Oh and those cans of formula that lady threw away was for a baby who needed it but the family couldn’t go back and get it!

I hope the video goes viral as well this is hands down negligence to a child's safety and to top it off the babies items were infested with roaches and mice feces. I feel for that poor baby. I don't know how a family member would just sit back and be OK with all of this.

@@sj20046 A house could not get that filthy in a month and a half. And there is no way I would let them back in either. They lost all rights to go back in when they took the appliances and didn't keep the house in a fit state for anyone to live in. All houses get untidy, but that is way different than that disgusting mess. That poor child should be removed from them by social services. If they think living like that was a safe place for it then they are deluded.

Let's be real you all never had intentions going back and getting that formula there was cockroaches and Animal feces on some of the cans. If you truly cared about that formula that would of been the first thing that should of got packed but no soiled diapers and feces all mixed with that formula you have no clue how disgusting you and your family truly are. So sad you keep lying saying you all weren't allowed to clean and go back for formula let's be real that baby has no chance child welfare should step in asap and so should Adult welfare seeing you are OK with cockroaches and soiled diapers.
