The maintenance guy showed up after I complained about it, because it had a hole in the vent hose(due to it not fitting and it ripped on its first use), and he knew immediately what the problem was before they even told him. He told them to get a smaller unit to fit the apartment, but they wanted to make it look luxurious(which it was mind you, it was a ballin apartment(except for the noise of 3 kids running around upstairs, making it hard to relax during the daytime). A good practice to do is to get a white board you can write down what room you are in, the date and the project number to set on the floor of the room and take a picture of it before and after cleaning. With it in each of the pictures of that room you have no question on "Where was this picture taken" later on if there is a dispute. Braced on a wall to avoid blocking in tight areas like closets and stairs Before and after pictures of the job can be a life saver if they try to take you to court for damage or if you need to take them to small claims for non payment. If you end up using the pictures for advertising can cover the board with a company logo to hide the limited personal data in the picture. As for what to do for backing the pictures up simple CD-R's or DVD-R's depending on the number of pictures to insert into the physical file with the project number written on it. Once you have a setup it is just a few minutes to do but can save you from insanity if someone tries to sue you as the best feeling you will have is when you ask their lawyer "would you like to see the pictures now or wait till we are in discovery?"
