That is beautiful. I was kind of worried you were going in the wrong direction with your painting of deserts and such... I just don't see as much beauty in a desert painting... but this has renewed my interest in your paintings. It's utterly gorgeous. Indescribable work!!! And you did it in acrylic too... that had to be more difficult than you made it look. Your painting turned out so good!

I dont think its necessary for it be orange. I have seen people do underpainting with blue. It depends on what is to be painted and to give some depth to the painting. I am no expert this is just my understanding 😊
