Workshops available. I do one per year, thats it! One planned for Scotland in 2023.
A Landscape Photography Trip to a New Location to shoot somewhere i haven't been before. I see a beautiful scene and enjoy it. High up, at Skippers Saddle outside Queenstown, NZ, with fellow landscape photographer Brett Wood. To Pano, or not to Pano... that is the question.

It’s always great to see another video from you Ewan, and this one is no exception. It always feels like we’ve come along with you on the shoot but the insight on this one is really cool - how you choose your angle, take it all in, connect with the landscape & of course interact with Brett (besties). A good reminder to enjoy the moment. You may not have the following or subscriber volume you deserve yet, but if you look at the maths (stick with me here) in terms of views compared to subscribers, you’re around 80% or more, whereas some other more “popular” photographers only have 5% or so engagement - so yes a smallish following, but a loyal & captive one😊

Hey Kerri - thanks for the meaningful thoughts and your kind words. I hadn't really give the maths an awful lot of though, more grateful and possibly a little surprised that people take their, time, to watch my stuff on here when time is such a valuable commodity these days! Thanks again, enjoy your sunrise shoot tomorrow and was good to chat and catch up this morning. Speak soon! Regards, Ewan

Great video, Ewan. Thanks for taking me along on your trek with Brett. I see you took time to add some protein (fly) after your hike up. Also, you added another item to my list of things to identify/include in my compositions; Hero Piece. Thanks for that. Keep well.
@EwanDunsmuirImages
@EwanDunsmuirImages 3 жыл бұрын
Hey John The protein was needed after that hike up there. Bear Grylls has it wrong though! Rather have an energy bar! Every shot needs that hero piece to hold your image together. Its probably one of the reasons that you took it in the first place! Good to have you along! Regards Ewan

Hey JOhn, I appreciate that mate. I think i am settling onto my documentary style with very flat and purposefully flat video profile, making it more analogue, than something high contrast. Hi there. Thanks very much. This is Sliding Nodal rail. It measures 300 mm and is like a great big long Arca plate, which fits into cold shoe of the Tripod head. I only have extra long one as i use longer lenses for the panos. I also have a double sided clamp with the silver knobs on it. This simply connects the rail, to the arca base plate on the camera. You could connect the rail directly to the camera, but i wanted flexibility that could be adjusted easily.
