held my breath at 6:10 there!!! and as for the gazelle-like leap into the cave? I'm very impressed ;-) serious stuff now. those 1-2 second exposures while a wave recedes around a rock are the sweet-spot for me - love them to shoot and look at 🙂 the light in the caves was other worldy - absolutely beautiful

I do the same every time I have to turn my back... 😂 Glad you enjoyed the this little outing, the light was pretty throughout. Look after yourself Nick 🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful images and colours from Port Wilunga Izzy, thank you 👌😁 Also great to see your team member Raffy out and about with you. 😁

Cheers David, if I returned from a shoot smelling of sand and surf I don't think Raffy would ever forgive me 😂. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Nice work again Izzy. Can't believe the scenery so close to Adelaide. My wife and I look forward every Sunday morning to watching your posts . Another spot I must visit.

Again a stunning vlog, Izzy. Here in Belgium we have not such locations, what I regret... For a good seaside shot, we have to travel to France or the Netherlands, and the traffic is killing fields!

Cheers Walter, I was in Belgium last year on holiday and really enjoyed walking around Ghent, Huy and of course the tourist trap of Bruges. Loved every minute. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Gorgeous variety of dramatic images from one stunning location! Your hard work really paid off on this one! You always give us a master class on working with changing light and moving water, while juggling Raffy at the same time! And I always appreciate your gracious demeanor towards letting others enjoy the beauty and just working around them.

Thank you very much for your kind Juanita 🙏. I always try to extract every single image I can from a location, especially if the conditions are good. And Raffy is usually a joy to have around, except when he is intent on ruining my shot with footprints 😂. We have to share this world and I have no more right that anyone else so a little patience is a small price to pay. Hope you are well and have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

You are lucky the way you just blunder onto some beautiful scenes and at just the right time of day and just blaze away…alternatively you are the master of planning, technique and artistic inspiration Obviously the former Well done Iz

You really do know the real me Tom, bumbling along without a real plan, talking any and all opportunities that come my way either with a real sense of appreciation or in confused happiness... or sometimes both 😂. Have agreat week with that wonderful family of yours matey 🙏🙏🙏

I am really running out of words to describe the stunningly beautiful images you produce! Gorgeous! Perfect! Fabulous! I think that'll do 🙂 What is it with you and batteries failing? Now I'm feeling more like myself again I'm itching to get out but it's the height of summer and a sunrise is an absolute no and it's way past my bedtime when the sun sets!!! I'm never happy!!! take care Izzy.

Thank you as always Jill, your kind words are very much appreciated. My GoPros are really showing their age and I don't want to buy new batteries as I'm hoping to get a newer set of video cameras in September (that's traditionally when GoPro release their latest camera). The newer versions use a different battery you see... Oh now I feel like a skinflint 😂. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Not half bad images again, you do know how to get the most of of a location and how to capture light. Really enjoyable video again. I don't know if others might find it useful if you talked us through your exposure blend and focus stack technique.

Cheers Tony, much appreciated buddy, and yes I am determined to do an extra video on my editing (its probably not conventional but it works for me 😂). Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Brilliant again Izzy but a lot of work focus stacking I don't think that I would have the patience 😂

Cheers Eltin, and probably a bit more than I really need too 😂. The problem is that the GFX renders a shallower depth of field at any given aperture compared to full frame... meaning that at f11 the depth of field is much greater on a full-frame camera than f11 on a medium format camera. That means I tend to overcompensate and take several images to ensure I get front to back sharpness 🙏. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

A glorious location, and it seems the Fleurieu Peninsula delivered (yet again), Izzy. I particularly liked the final image from within the cavern though the textures in the image at 14:20 or so were also very pleasing. It's a fair hike from my neck of the woods, but my wife is slowly warming to the idea of returning again. I'll keep applying pressure.😉 Looking forward to the next adventure, and it's great to see Raffy enjoying himself.

In awe, once again, at your images. They are wonderful. I do not understand the chronology of exposure blending and focus stacking (I get either one separately) but how do you go about doing both to produce one stunning image? Maybe, one day, you could do a video on how you go about it, please? Thanks again for sharing your work
@IzzyAbuleelaPhotography6 ай бұрын
Cheers Derek, very much appreciated... I will definitely have to make a video soon on blending. I'll try my best over the next month or so. Glad you enjoyed this little adventure. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Wonderful location. The sky and the water alone made a beautiful graphic composition. Add in the rocks and the pylons, the waves and the cave you had a great deal of very appealing subject matter to work with. I very much liked the sunburst and pylon image and the silhouetted cave image. The cave image had a wonderful depth to it. Beautiful images as always.

Thank you Keith, very much appreciated. Sometimes the stars align, the light was beautiful, if a little harsh at times, but boy it made for a great shoot. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Nice photographs as usual. You missed out on a nice wide scene what your video camera did capture 13 minutes into the vid. A lot of foamy waves , beautyfull cloud/sky and warm glowing light on the rocks. Keep showing us that scenery !

Great video Izzy, felt for you with the people going up and down the stairs. That shot at 3:25 was wonderful, then the cave shots, I liked them all but the cave image at 19:45 really stood out to me. I must say looking at those caves from outside I didn't think they had so much room in them, really loved the location. Thanks very much for sharing this photo shot with us, Have a great week.

Thank you as always Ross, much appreciated buddy. We have to share this planet so a little patience is a small price to pay. And you are quite right the caves are deceptively deep, needed to keep the boats, oars and nets of fishermen of yesteryear. Glad you enjoyed this little adventure buddy. Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏

Absolute stunners! I so love seascapes! the image at 7:52 is just gourgeous but then came the one at 12:09! wow! the sun just breaking the horizon and light spilling across the water, perhaps my favourite. the light was quite gentle making the image so serene. My week has started off so well once again. thank you see you next week! PS I did watch last week on the TV and was rushed so didn't make a comment then, but will return and watch Flinders again - OH Joy!!!

Just had to subscribe, absolutely wonderful photography. These cave shots are pure master class. I just bought the NISI starter kit for my Nikon D850 (don't laugh) should I buy the landscape CPL or rather the low Grad to complement the medium grad in the kit? Carl
@IzzyAbuleelaPhotography5 ай бұрын
Thanks Carl, much appreciated. I would never laugh at the D850 as that is still my favourite camera, solid as a brick, dependable, low noise and great colour. If it was me I'd go for a CPL as you can't replicate what it does in software. The lack of an extra grad may mean you have to bracket your shot but you can never take the glare of wet foliage, rocks or the surface of the water any other way. Hope this helps, have a great weekend 🙏🙏🙏

lovely photos.. I would love to head back to that location again.. got the perfect day for it.. gap for the sunset to reflect the colours of the sunset glow. Are you using Kase filters??? looks like Nisi filters. I have the Kase filters myself.. I love the magnet clip, no more slots in.. Hope we meet again.
@IzzyAbuleelaPhotography6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much Nik, very much appreciated. I have both Kase and Nisi filters but tend to use my Nisi as I have an adaptor and polariser on all my lenses. Speeds me up in the field. And you are quite right I got really lucky with that break in the clouds. I'm sure we will meet again, I need to get my fix at petrel Cove again soon! Have a great week 🙏🙏🙏
