I love the green colors. This was beautiful. It looks like it was a very nice day. It was a cool thing that they set things up so people could watch the Olympics from there.❤

Becky, I have started a small journal and loving your style. My painting is loosening up and definitely having an impact on me. Next vacation, I'm getting a journal and instead of taking pictures I'm painting with some writing about the atmosphere around me!!! Thanks so much. ❤

Very cool, you are basically taking us on a virtual tour of Canada =) Lovely sketch, I like how you illustrated the white tent with the sun's glow on the left side and shadow on the right.

Hello! I've really been enjoying your videos. I live in New Westminster, BC, so it's been such fun seeing you traveling to and sketching at places that are familiar to me. I'm also an ECE working in Vancouver, so learning that about you was very fun! Your work is lovely, and I value your perspective about even the small, normal things in life like a cup of coffee or a sandwich being worth documenting. I'm building up my drawing skills, and watching your process has really been inspiring for me. Thank you for sharing your passion and your talent. ❤

Thank you for your appreciation! It's true that the working experience as an ECE helped me to value the small things in life. Best wishes on your creative experience! ❤️

Becky this was such a great sketch highlighting how to paint an almost completely green painting successfully! I just tried recently to paint an all green park in my town and ended up giving up because it looked so boring. I see now I could have maybe saved it by intensifying some of the darker greens! Thank you and enjoy the rest of your trip! Gloria from Texas

Hi Becky, love the vid as always. You are such a delight in how you see the world. Just wondering for your adventures, were you sitting on the ground or a little fold stool??

Thank you very much! I was squatting on the ground and stretching my legs once every 10 minutes haha.

THANK YOU!! Can I have your advice? How can make courage open my drawing to people when my drawing skill is not exellent? I also want to feel happiness when drawing my life moment but I do not yet know Its meaning. Is it valuable to record moment of life? Thanks always and I hope you have a good trip rest of days :)

Hi there! Just want to give you some encouragement with your questions! It does take courage to paint publicly, or to show others your work. My experience has been that the perspective or opinions of others about my art is vastly different, and much more positive, than my own perspective! For so many, just observing others creating art is inspiring and meaningful, and they tend to provide lovely feedback about what I create. As to your question about whether it's valuable to record your regular, daily life, I believe it absolutely is. Taking time to draw/paint/document ordinary moments, objects or places allows us the opportunity to practice our skills without the pressure of having to create a "finished product" or a perfect piece of art. That's also why I love using sketchbooks, they allow me to be casual and relaxed about my creative process, and give me space to try new things.

@@gallopsarahoh my God!!. I really appriciate your advice !! So heart warming words that I never expected. I never heard before like this. I really want to draw but manytimes inside me somthing forced to me stop. I will try to put down negative eyes and give me more generosity. Thanks for your kindness again. ❤

I love watching you. And I don't mean to be critical. But I think you keep missing it painting the mountains green. They're actually a shade of lavender. Try that next time

Thank you for your comment! Lavender can indeed be great for early morning or evening scenes when purple tones are more prominent. I painted this landscape at noon, where blue green was the dominant color. I appreciate your thoughts-thanks again, and have a great day!
