LandSpeed Rx8 554 RWHP 13B-MSP Renesis Engine World Record Dyno

This is now the world record for the most powerful side-port Renesis 13B-MSP Rx8 engine at 554rwhp. This motor runs OEM unmodified Renesis side-plates(irons), and rotor housings. No hybrid work, and this is not an Rx7 engine. It does however run unmodified, 9.0:1 13B-REW engine rotors, with 2mm E&J FD size apex seals, and special SCR FD size 2mm corner seals, and FD size sideseals. It has our 10mm Rx8 engine stud kit, and solid 1 piece engine dowels, and removed F/R sideport exhaust sleeve inserts( all exhaust is still going out all 3 side exhaust ports)
This engine is controlled by an @Adaptronic S1 Rx8 Plug and Play ecu, remoted tuned by our shop. OneEthanol Race E85 is used with 8X 2200cc injectors and a ProJay 13B intake system( 90mm throttle body) that has been modified to fit an Rx8 motor.
Turbo system consists of our 3 into 1 tubular Rx8 turbo manifold, ‪@GarrettMotion‬ GTX5533R gen2, Tialsport 60mm wastegate, and Tial Vband rear housing

Are you making any more turbo manifolds for the Renesis? Would like to get my hands on one to save a lot of time fabricating, doesn't need to be complete even, going V-band exhaust housing. Would also take a blem/used/damaged one.

Hi. I'm about to build a Rat rod from a Volvo Duett 1962 and i will use a Rx8 car as donator for most parts, I'm really glad to see that your engine deliver this much power almost stock. I will proberbly use your setup for my build. Thanks for a great video and lots of inspiration 👍

The turbo is enormous, so the emp to boost ratio must be amazing. This will dramatically improve the reliability, but be omg so laggy as a result. I for one have been thinking of doing an FD3S, but with the price of RX8s being so low the Renesis looks like an option worth spending time on. I’m looking for advice and told I’m wrong to worry, because as compelling as the rotary is, the turbo size needed for power seems a bit crazy, I dont think I would enjoy the lag

Do you have to cut new grooves for the rew rotors? I've seen where people have used rew ,s4 and s5 rotors, but they always said that the slots for the side seals locations on the series 6 and down rotors didn't play well with the ports on the renesis plates.

Nice ლ(╹◡╹ლ) I've just rebuilt my Renesis using your stud kit although I still use the stock 10:1 rotors. I have run 22psi before on E85 and made 266kw atw or about 354hp atw but had problems with the variable intake plus other (auto elec miss wiring problems) Now everything is perfect it feels even better on only 6psi and 98(Australian Octane) I will dyno it next month and upload the results if you are interested:) Plus a mid Feb track day video will be made.

Underrated engine. They are making well over 400hp to wheels in Thailand without a problem. Here in Australia 🇦🇺 tho they will bag the renisis all day long😊
