Lane's mom was tough. But she didn’t have it so bad in the end. She got to date Dave and Zach. She got a wedding she could enjoy with Zach. And she got to pursue her music. Mrs. Kim pushing them to tour helped more than whatever they were doing on their own. With all of the limitations, Lane got more love and support than many young people ever get.

I remember I was baffled when I first saw this scene. I am a Korean who lives in Korea. The wedding ritual is far from real Korean weddings and I have been dying to say this to the ones who love the show. But what happens in Lane and Zach's wedding is very enjoyable and I love to see Mrs. Kim trying to pull the wedding off.

I find it really funny that Mrs. Kim had sex once and got pregnant with Lane and then Lane had sex with Zach for the first time on their honeymoon and she got pregnant. 😂

The sprint between ceremonies was classic Stars Hollow. One of the strengths of "Gilmore Girls" was the many side characters and their adventures: Paris, Lane, Kirk, Doyle, Dave, Zack, Taylor, etc.

He just gives me sloppy uncaring vibes and Lane was always so romantic and super passionate about things. Just seems like writers got lazy after her other boyfriend left and then all of a sudden made her and Zak love interests.
