I'm in a youth league doing PBA patterns. This pattern played really well for me, actually went all the way and won that night. Threw a Hy Road Nano (I mostly throw EBI now but this ball is still so nice) and played up 10 standing around 27 and had a great line. Could get it out to 7 and it would come back because everyone else was playing there.

Fluffyguy958 how are you standing on 27 throwing over 10? Unless you walk 10 boards right on your approach.

We have something similar. 15 out is dry. 41 feet, 31 units, for a house shot. Pretty much taken 3 months to figure out what you just put on tape. Thanks for the affirmation.

I think Jr means pin to pap or vertical axis line. When your pin in your ball is closer to your axis point the ball transitions sooner and starts rolling and this is good for the first game or maybe the first couple games if it's in wet dry condition since this layout gives you the most control of your ball since it reads transitions so early and don't want to jump. The longer pin makes the balls go down the lane longer and transitions later and has a bigger motion on the backend and these are good for when you get your lane open up but this is not as control since it takes longer for the ball to transition and on most sport shots u want your ball to read earlier since it gives u most control of what the ball is going to do on the lane. But Jr will probably give you a better explanation to this and why they use it but this is what I think he means about shorter and longer pins.
