Excellent video. Your doing a good job. Get yourself a dimpler and recess those pan drains. Itll really get them completely drained. Looking good. Nice shop.

Thanks for watching @MrLittleman777. I Definitely need to do that, I will probably build a drainage / filtered system to keep the fluid from evaporating come spring.

Really good video. I've been slowly building my Crossfire Pro. Slowly because I'm a machinist / CNC programmer, not a machine builder. :) Good method of sealing up the water table. Definitely a good idea to rough up the surface before applying sealer. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Go Patriots and now that nearly the whole team went to Tampa Bay, go Buccaneers too ( a little friendly ribbing ). Take care

@@marcustomz Well I'm glad I asked. I'm assembling mine tomorrow. That sounded like a good idea, so I was planning to stop of at the auto body supply on my way home. Thanks for the report sir!

Table arrived with issues. A table leg was double dented or pinched on 2 of its sides. And the main gantry is rusty and pitted. I made a short video of my repairs. Langmuir is replacing t gantry, and has already shipped it. As for t table leg, I beat it into shape, but they're gonna replace that as well. Not happy with this item. Zero QC as far as I can tell. Ill attempt 2 post a video. See how that goes.

How has the pro treated you over a year? I’m thinking about upgrading from the regular crossfire. I’ve got a buddy wanting to buy it.
@marcustomz
@marcustomz Жыл бұрын
@timblack33 thanks for asking. I'm loving this table. I haven't run into any issues other than, wanting to design larger parts than the table is capable of cutting. I hope to outgrow this table one day. I would like to add a auto water fill and drain system next spring, due to the fluid evaporating between uses. All and all ,I'm loving this table. Note : If you decide to upgrade to the Crossfire pro. Bond the water table with a high heat red silicone, not the 3M product Ii used in this video. Thanks for watching ✌🏾

Now that that 3M, 2 part has set up how do feel about the bond? My Crossfire pro should be arriving this month and I'm trying to decide what to do about my water table. Thanks. And great video!
@marcustomz
@marcustomz 3 жыл бұрын
The bond is fantastic,the 3M, 2 Part has been used in crash testing in the automotive industry and has the same strength as a manufacturer spot welds joining panels. Car manufacturers recommend this 3M, 2 part to bond roofs on vehicles and in other applications. I'm 100% confident in this product. Thanks for watching, Albert J3

@bpdp379 Hello and thanks for watching. I don't recommend using the 3M metal bonding product in my video. It's not Heat friendly unfortunately. I removed the product and reapplied a High Heat Silicone from the auto parts store. Going on 2 years leak free.
