I keep seeing people are here for the sweedish guy ... I'm starting to think he's gonna have to take a body guard if he ever leaves sweeden. Personally I'm trying to learn all those languages and wabdered if they spoke German as much as English in Scandinavia... Anyway , the Spanish guy is kinda cheating , like what Mexican / latio plays the bagpipes WTF lmao. Maybe if they were from a border country that hears Spanish , but they're F'kin Vikings lmao. My sexy German girl over here doin easy stuff like book and child. She got a sweet voice that definitely blocks any negatives for a German accent. Lol shy , I just wanna cuddle and buy her a pony or some shit hahaha. Ustedes son fresco . And sweedish guy , you need to carry pepper spray and a box of condoms lmao.

German - Swedish literally have tens of thousands of words in common so it is much easier guessing between those languages. Spanish is a little different. :)

Neue Ära Because they are Germanic languages while Spanish is Italic Romance (Latin).

Revive Teleport That is correct! And not only does German and Swedish have a common Germanic root, but Swedish also borrowed many German words from the middle ages and onwards because of trading and other relations with Germans. The Swedish word "fönster" comes from German word "Fenster", = "window", as an example.
@chribbatt

Neue Ära The easiest must be between German and Swedish, if they were thinking of their relation, and their additional relation to English. Using the genealogical history shared between English, German and Swedish and their shared words must make it the easiest of the two languages to go from.

@@caesaraltamiranor.7789 Niels is meaning "Romance languages". However, all of them are from the same language family: Indo-European languages. Like Germanic and Italic (including Romance languages) BTW: linguistically, Basque is unrelated to the other languages of Europe and has no relation to any other known living language. Well, there are hundred of words they had could use eg. falsk/falsch/falso, relation/beziehung/relación tunnel/tunnel/túnel, lejon/löwe/león etc.

@Nutzername92a
@Nutzername92a 9 жыл бұрын
You're right, but the Swedish words were also not that far away from English. So the Spanish guy could guess them just as easily ;) For example "Vattenpistol" is actually closer to the English "Waterpistol" than to the German "Wasserpistole". Also "Pappersflygplan" is closer to the English "Paper(fly)plane" than to the German "Papierflugzeug". And even "Parkeringsplats" is closer to the English "Parking place" than to the German "Parkplatz" :D
@abeedhal6519
@abeedhal6519 9 жыл бұрын
Nutzername92a not if you say them. for example: pistol in swedish sounds exactly like the german word pistole. flyg is very similar to the flug in papierflugzeug. plats sounds like platz. If you read the swedish words on the other hand they often look much more similar to the english words so you are right the spanish guy just didnt pay enough attention to those similarities.

Haha! Nail it! :D I'm Danish so I could understand all the Swedish words. I'm learning German in my school so I knew all the German words as well. And every summer I'm traveling to Spain with my family because we love Spain, and I have been to a summer camp where I learned Spanish, so I almost knew all the Spanish words too! ;)

Spanish speakers say they didn't get many of the words in spanish, well that tells you you need to practice more. Learn more vocabulary, because Spanish is a very rich language. I am learning French, Italian, Dutch and Greek, but I always make sure my Spanish is up to date, since I live in the U.S. Here there are spanish speakers from all around the world and they use many colloquialisms and slang. It's helpful to learn different words in your first language as well, every day. language is for communication with one another, and it's wonderful when you're able to expand your horizons, your vocabulary and learn more words and phrases to enrich your speech. Even Americans who only speak english some times use google for word definition, because some words aren't very common, I seen it.

+Alex-joel Rios Each spanish speaking country has its own dialect. It's not that we need to practice more. There are some argentinian words that spaniards wouldn't be able to understand, the same goes for mexicans,venezuelans,spaniards,etc. They should have chosen regular spanish words, not just some words used in Spain !!
