G'day, thanks again for a great video. I needed something like that to take me away from me world to yours, to calm down and chill out. Definitely could live on that lake, fishing rod od in hand, no hook on it, just for aesthetics with a beer in hand to just chill.

Pleased to see they got the watercart out,that road reminds me of some of the rods in the Kimberley of WA. Thanks for sharing. Just a thought but it might be a good idea to get yourselves a flag for your truck one with the red light on top like they use on the mines in Australia.

Hey Todd.. Must have taken some volume of rain to fill that lake. Is the rainy season long? Wet season is rather long where we are in Gia Lai. The roads in our neigborhood are so similar.. but finally the government are getting them surfaced and steadily reparing others. still bloody dangerous though. All the best!

Usually late June to Sept.. But we didn't have much of a dry season last year and this years wet was VERY wet.

Your poor truck must have inches if dust on it by the time you get home.
@BrianMax2 жыл бұрын
Lovely country. That road you were on between 17:00 and 19:00 seems to be a major route for commercial transport. They need to tax the companies that own those trucks and use that money to grade the road and put down tarmac. I don't know how things are in Laos, but in many Asian countries, the tax money ends up in bureaucrats' bank accounts instead of going to the intended purpose. This happens in both Marxist and right-wing governments.
