@@Banggeek Why bother even being here, watching this video, then? And if you have no respect for the origins and history of the sport, the reasons why drivers want to drive at Monaco, and think a racetrack is the way to show one's wealth, then you're deluded and misguided, and you just want to publicise your bitter, biased opinion. The British racetracks were mostly developed from airfields after WW1 or WW2, when our country was bankrupt after years of war. THEY aren't rich, they're pretty much fields with car parks and portaloos. WE aren't rich, I live for a month on money that a footballer would "earn" in a DAY. And are there no rich showoffs in your country? Are there no sporting events in your country? Your country sends nobody to the Olympics, the World Cup, the Winter Olympics? You're still on the wrong video.

Everything looks so different for Monaco when it's not time for racing. It's such a beautiful city, no wonder it's chosen every year for its regulation! It's all wonderful! Only one thing gets me, though. The road (or walking path) used for the pit lane, I recall there are buildings there for the teams, the garages, etc.. Do they tear the buildings down immediately after all race venues are done and then rebuild them as race day nears, or what?
@y8r1138 жыл бұрын
It's a really beautiful environment, for sure. So much heritage and history. Combined with a classic race sport like Formula 1. It's all so tantalizing.

Yeah sure. They race there because it's a beautiful city ..... 😂 It's got nothing to do with money.

ya he didn't mean the motorhomes. He meant the pit building for the garages where the car are. Look at 7:19 there is nothing

Se pueden apreciar lo bonito que son los edificios. Durante las carreras no se aprecian las fachadas sobre nivel de calle. Impresionante los coches que se ven en el casino! You can see how beautiful the buildings are. During the races the facades above street level are not appreciated. Awesome cars that you see in the casino!

I've been to Monaco a couple of times when the race isn't on and the things that you don't notice on TV are how steep the climb from St Devote up Beau Rivage is, absolute mission to walk up there. Then also the drop down to Mirabeau, Loews and Portier is very steep. The other thing is that after the Nouvelle Chicane, it is incredibly narrow leading up to the swimming pool and actually a bit of a wasteland in the area just before Rascasse.
