LAPD report shows increase in Chevy Camaro thefts

The Los Angeles Police Department released numbers showing a 500% increase in stolen Camaros - many of which are being driven at sideshows in street takeovers. Hetty Chang reports for the NBC4 News on March 13, 2024.

They tore up transmissions and differentials of all the chargers and challengers doing their sideshows and now they looking for “new meat”, the Camaro.

I think it's because, this is the last year for this car. It's s getting discontinued.. I believe these individuals are probably going to flip them....

Street takeovers and sideshows are not the same thing at all. Sideshows rarely exist anymore they were like a late night cars and coffee with proud car owners who could actually drive. Takeovers started happening in the 2010s with stolen vehicles blocking bridges and freeways and fireworks for some reason takeover clowns arent even real car enthusiasts they more like ravers or the music festival weirdo crowd
