He's right about all of it. Police are useless in recovering stolen property. I've had two experiences with stolen vehicles in Fort Worth, the first was 41 years ago. The police couldn't be bothered. They told us to go look for it, when we found it, we called them, they told us to just drive it away. Good luck with that, the thief had the only keys. The second case they claimed was a "civil" matter because the thief was also a company employee. So they couldn't be bothered. Wouldn't even file a report despite phone calls and visits. Why, if you didn't know better, you'd almost think police have a symbiotic relationship with criminals.

PSA: For those of you that don’t know, law enforcement in most major cities do NOT search for stolen cars. They merely stumble across them when their license plate readers signal them a car is reported stolen. This applies to when cars are in motion in traffic and when the cars parked (most departments have Plate readers installed/affixed to patrol cars. LPRs are sometimes hidden in patrol car front bumper grill. Some are attached to the rear trunk). Don’t ask how I’ve learned this 😂.
@shelbynamels9733 ай бұрын
you make it sound like you believe them when they say the purpose of LPS is to identify stolen cars. That is last on the list. The primary purpose of using LPS is to check for expired registrations. The secondary = or may be even the primary - is to track a car without having to have an active pursuit going on. Everybody is being surveyed all the time, so when an Amber alert goes out, the first step is to sift thru the LPS data base. Third, LPS data is not protected by privacy laws. Agencies sell that data to private companies that have an interest in finding you, i.e. repo companies looking for your vehicle that you may be using after you moved from your last known address.. It's a Brave New World. Embrace it, you don't really have a choice.

Those Dallas cops were never intending to track anything down in Burleson. They would only actively do something if the majority of those 1000 cases pointed to a common location in Dallas.

Cops stopped being public servants many years ago. They are basically a new gang idc what anyone says. Law abiding citizens who pay their taxes should never have to "pray" they get the right officer on the right day just for them to simply do their job. It seems like they are behaving as if they are doing us a favor. As many times as I used to get pulled over in my 2 old hellcat challengers for "potentially" stolen vehicles. I learned they just profiled hellcats and the stolen reports were years old that they claimed were the reason for their stops. They say why not let insurance cover the car theft??? They clearly have no idea how tight insurance companies are with how bad the thefts have gotten for popular sports cars. This shows how the major disconnect from honest news can be in the guise of protecting incompetent LEO behaviors.

This advice is one of the problems with the country. The police and left want everyone to just be a willing victim that participates in the crime by doing nothing. When American men stopped going into the street to confront the problems, the wolf packs started to grow and increase their feedings. This trend started in the 90's and has grown to epidemic proportions. Now when a guy hears a problem on their street, they are too busy peeping out the blinds to fight for what is right and what is righteous. Good on this chap - he took a stand and refused to continue to be a victim, and he did it without bloodshed, though I am sure he was prepared for whatever resistance that may have been given. Politicians want us to be victims because it increases their power and their budgets. (60% of all crime is performed by the same 80% of criminals. The catch and release system of the judges and DA's only fortify their roles in government.) Choose not to be a victim if you are an able-bodied man.
