OK, when you deactivate the Intel VMD controller it lets you install Windows... but from the factory the VMD controller is activated and it is assumed that when you install it again and it remains as it arrived, you must activate the VMD controller again but it does not let you start and that the windows is original... so... how do we leave it as it arrived from the factory or does it have to stay like this with the VMD controller deactivated

Definitely, he deserves that. I have also been wondering what it was I did wrong, that I wasn't able to see all storage device. Even had to return the NVMe SSD drive to the vendor I got it from.

I just spent an hour over 3 Lenovo laptops (i5 10th and 11th Gen then i7 11th Gen) all with SSD upgrades and YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE!!! This Intel VMD needs to be disabled in BIOS on practically any Lenovo Laptop (Intel CPU 10th Gen and above in my experience). Hats off to you for that - keep up the good work!!! 👍

I couldn’t install Windows 10 on my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 after I wiped the Windows 11 installation in the Command Prompt from UEFI startup because the Windows 10 installation media wasn’t showing the SSD on my available drives. But once I turned off Intel VMD in the BIOS settings, I was able to install Windows 10 immediately! Thank you so much!!! 🙏 ❤

HOL-E-CRAP, I've been STRUGGLING trying to fix a friends POS lenovo for HOURS... The weird thing for me was that I installed Win 10 adding the VMD drivers to the USB I had Windows on and it worked for a few weeks, then it kept giving me the blue screen of death and i decided to reinstall Windows and it has been almost imposible for me to do it like i did it the first time, until i found your video!!
