oh I find the early ones a little embarrassing, I like to think my videos are getting slightly better with time and practice, My Black Bottle comparison to the 10 year BB is out tomorrow which I think you'll enjoy, I really recommend them for the price although I don't know how its priced in Canada

Great reviews. I have been contemplating these two drams and one question. Is your bottle of the 10 year at 40% ABV? You might have said it but I didn't hear it. In Canada it is at 43% which bumps up the flavour and the deliciousness in my opinion. That being said I think I would still go for the QC if I had to choose.....but the 10 year is no slouch. Slainte. Are you looking forward to Feis Ile 2021 (virtually of course)?

Thank you and yes 40% in the UK which is a huge shame, I would love to compare the 40 to the 43% actually. It’s a tough one to call because I think both these whiskies are amazing and they’re both one of my favourites. I didn’t know you could do that virtually so thanks I’ll be giving that a watch for sure! I can understand why you prefer the QC, higher strength and the quarter cask influence in a laphroaig is incredible, the woodiness blended with the mossy peat. Cheers!

Can never find the QC for less than £34 on offer on amazon now. That's a huge price increase in a year. The 10 is often available for £28, so cheaper which is weird.

Yeah it always amazes me how 10 year olds can be cheaper than a NAS from the same people but the QC is proofed 8% higher so I think this is probably why in this case. I’ve had the same issue as you this year though, I’ve been waiting for the QC to drop back to 28 so I could rebuy it and so ended up without it 😅
