I think Ironmouse may be the ultimate example of this. It wasn't that long ago that she was a disabled girl who picked up streaming so she had something to do while bedridden... Now she's wiped every debt her family had and bought them a new HOUSE. Look up the video where she reluctantly set a $2000 goal for her listeners to help fund an improved workspace (she couldn't even SIT IN A CHAIR, FFS!), and gave it a 243 day timeline. Chat (led by a pair of absolute Mad Lads with deep pockets) obliterated the goal in 7 minutes and 14 seconds. And just kept going. Meanwhile she's sitting there crying in happy disbelief because she never expected people to care SO MUCH for her. It's absolutely heartwarming.
