I am having trouble with the touchpad. It does not have tactile click anymore, like it is worn out. In your video it looks like it may be as simple as removing the back cover and removing the batter,y to expose the touchpad. Is that the case? I have not found a video that shows removal of the touchpad, it is always left attached to the top case when the video ends. Is this replaceable? Any difficulties?

Most of the laptops have not removable TouchPad and in such case you would have to replace palmrest. Thanka

I have inherited this laptop. It needs a new Hard drive. Is any 2.5 inch (I think) SATA drive compatible? Good drive for less han 100? Also, is this a good laptop for live streaming?

You need an mSATA. They are much different than sata drives.

The ssd is located next to the left fan. Don’t get it confused with the Wi-Fi card. My Lenovo yoga 2 pro is broken. So good luck to you!

Never buy rubber feel surface I have this one, barely used. Now all rubbery and break apart Battery bloated. Never buy rubber feel surface The laptop is fine, the screen is fine except the hard rubber surround the screen and keyboard will disintegrate within 1-3 years. The side rubbers are peeling off, the orange cover is melting/sticky effect and it’s very flimsy now. Wrong choice of laptop. Want to repair and salvage the shell? A+B+C+D = US$ 250 every 1-3 years. Fuck off Lenovo. This Yoga 2 Pro is crap.

Yes all side rubber peeling off. All the material degraded and lastly laptop wont power up. Screw lenovo yoga 2 pro

Mine's still fine in 2022. The screen is amazing. The orange shell still turns heads. I just wish I could fit a newer processor with 16GB RAM in the case
