The crown works against all 3 elements when you're the defending team. Mouseover the blue question mark for the tooltip which says that. (Or for light/dark titans, works against both shades.) Also, the weapon artifact is twice as effective on offense for light and dark titans (but is still limited to only the one target element). Again, it's there in the fine print (in the tooltip).

the hint is that every time you battle the boss they get stronger , so maybe attacking the boss and losing you pay a price

The mobile event is a disaster in terms of being able to do anything. Even after getting the 10 buck event energy bundle and I'm still stuck. Gonna be upset about having to spend emeralds to open all tower chests :/ This event was deliberately made to be pay to play as many see it. Pair that with the battle pass disaster and a lot of players might just quit. I'm not even gonna add in Vulcan's rampage on top of that.

Having to collect up 1,000 artifact keys to open chest 7 just to get 60,000 coins and only 1 artifact key isn't amusing, takes weeks to collect up that many artifact keys

No adventure coins to complete tasks or soul stones. Example i need 95 coins and its been stuck on 89 for a day now.

Lara's performance in the temple fights is disappointing.

Right? Alvanor with big shields counters bonus crit damage, I think, so the event forces you to use Lara against a boss that counters her. Unless you use Iris to expose his soul and give you something to crit on.
